Heh, just use resco explorer or total commander to overwrite it in the windows root and then soft reset.

So I gotta ask: is it worth it?

I know stock ain't too pretty, though it looks better than WM6.5--but is there any lag, slowness or bugginess with the full HTC messenger?

Not that I can tell, yet... But the only disappointment I have is I cannot send mms, even from the album. I am looking into it.

GTK--I'm actually one of the few on this board who evidently doesn't ever use MMS, so that is the least of my concerns, lol

I also don't watch SprintTV--take that rest of the ppcg community! :geek:

Hey for anyone that wants it... I have found two cabs for 2.1 manila w weather. One removes the background behind the clock. The other is for a clear clock with the grayish/white numbers.

Calku...any chance of the MS bluetooth stack included for your next Ver of the kitchen. I know there are lots of folks that like this new widcomm stack...but some of us have issues with the widcomm...and would like to use the MS stack again like the first TP.

this is off the hook! i am loving this kitchen, jaw dropped when i saw all the options. this is my first time flashing phones so i am really impressed!

I have only had one issue. Sync phone first time and it works as it should. usb icon shows, charging light comes on, the usual. Then when i pop the cord out. the charging light stays on. and the power icon stays as if plugged in (lightning bolt). then i plug it back in and the charging light turns OFF and the battery icon comes back. of course a soft reset fixes all this.

i did a hard reset for the hell of it, since i had just flashed anyway and it erased my programming. and when i went to program i got an error, something about "voicecmd" probably something i disabled in the kitch. so back on stock to program and just wondering if any may know a fix to this syncing issue before i flash back

also i got tsowens taskbar and battery at 3.1.5 and vista orb (which seems slightly squished horizontally btw)

EDIT: huh, well flashed back to the same rom that had the syncing issue, and it is no longer there. so yay, seriously lovin this kitchen!

depends on how much you txt.

once you get around 500 msgs or so its does start to get a bit laggy..

tell you 1 thing it doesnt like when you restore 3k worth of txt msgs to it lol.

lol, also GTK

I just loaded the new ROM now with it, so will give it a spin, but I usually have 50 messages top in my inbox total, so it shouldn't be a problem akin to your scale of messages :sign5:
