Loving this kitchen, and am running 21876. Seems the most stable. Couple things I am having a hard time searching out resolutions for:

1: SPB Mobile Shell and 6.5.1 button conflict at bottom.
2. Bluetooth nag when I get out of the car. I installed the cab, but it only stops the popup, but the notification is still in the queue and must be cleared.
3. G-Sensor speakerphone. Placing phone face down does not auto activate.

Other than that, I enjoy the battery saving rom! Thanks a zillion Calk!

21876 is 6.5. Im not sure how you have the 6.5.1 button conflict with that sys build but i will assist you anyway. You will need to either, not cook in the position fix or if you already have a built rom with the issue, navigate to your tasks via the task manager and terminate the position fix.

You are right in saying that PositionFix or Showcase Suite are causing that issue but all you have to do is remove Manila from these reg keys

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\WM65xFix]
"WindowClasses"

or

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase]
"SUITE_PositionFix_WinClasses"

After flashing this ROM onto my Sprint Touch Pro 2, the device does not boot up. Is something or suggestions folks have that I need to look at to troubleshoot this issue?

Unfortunately, one of the issues that i have come across with every rom that I created with this kitchen is the fact that the phone will not sync with the microsoft exchange server. If you go to add server source, once the information is imputted, it hangs...... if that could get fixed, this would be a deal maker for me.

Hmm, I've used google's exchange server with no issues.

You don't happen to have "text messages" checked with the sync options in some of the builds, do you? I know that can block a successful sync since really no one has that implemented yet server side.

@Calkulin

Do you have GoogleLocationServices installed in these kitchens (I can't find it)? The reason I ask is I can't get Google's AFLT/My Location to work in any builds, including your own ROMs posted.

GPS works fine in Google Maps and HTC Weather works fine too.

It is just My Location--the map defaults to SF when loaded where other builds open to my actual location instantly, since it uses cell-tower triangulation (AFLT) to find me. Yours is the only ROM/Kitchen to behave like this.

im not on Calks right now for the TP2 but on the latest diamond kitchen from him.

start > tools > manilla > enable my location will enable it.

+1 to ActiveSync....mine sync's only after a couple of tries. Not a huge deal, since once sync'ed...all is good for subsequent updates.

My map always starts in SF... even when I was running the Telus OEM build... I just thought that was normal... isn't it? My location is determined fairly quickly after that.

Nope, in other ROMs when I open Google Maps it immediately hops to my current location (NY)--mind you, this is without GPS, I'm talking strictly cell tower triangulation (AFLT), which gets me within 1500meters.

I have no idea why this won't work--HTC Manila is not needed for Google AFLT, so that's out and I shouldn't need to "turn it on" anywhere. But no matter which ROM or build I use, no matter what the settings in Manila, it just never works when I hit the "blue dot". All other ROMs and kitchens this works without a hitch or any configuration from the getgo

There are 3 components needed: GoogleLocationService, HTCGeoService, and HTCFramework and I'm not sure if those are in the Kitchen.

Really frustrating! As I like to use Google Latitude 24/7 and AFLT doesn't hurt battery life, unlike GPS.
