Have you ever used a smooth 2.5? Every one I cooked has been so laggy I gave up on 2.5

Try this driver package replacing the one in the kitchen, build the same ROM and see if there is a difference in the battery.

It might need a few minutes to finish uploading.
Froader, what's the deal on this driver?

Just use Manila - 2.1.1921 EXT...its just as fast or faster than the stock Manila with weather.

I'll try that. How do I disable the weather animation on 2.1.1921. the option in the kitchen "Manilla 2.X disable weather animations" has no effect since I still have the animations on the home screen.

Try to change this:
Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"EnableWeatherClock"=dword:1
to:
Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"EnableWeatherClock"=dword:0

Well, my suspicions are with the BT drivers/stack from the new VZW ROM are causing horrible battery life. I posted the OEMDrivers package from one of SSK kitchens which was before they were updated, and battery life was great. You can replace the same folder in Calk's kitchen to test.

I just cooked a rom without bing 5.0 and just tried loading the cab and it says that my device is not supported. Guess I'll go back to 4.6

FYI, I am currently testing this.
Fortunately I have 2 TP2, until I return 1 for warranty.

I will update my findings.
