Looking for something here.. My phone is SIM unlocked, and in the stock rom you can switch from Global to CDMA only to GSM only. You do this by clicking menu on the settings tab in touchflo...

help a lurker out? Is there a way in this kitchen to get this feature?

By the way, bad ass kitchen, I tossed in Manila 2.5 landscape and the Leo volume, everything [almost!] I would ever want.

Was this question ever answered or the person who posted it find an answer to this kitchen error when building during the create stage. I am working on Win7 and in my attempt to find and answer I saw someone stated to unzip to a new folder...but I did re-download and unzip to a new folder but the build will not complete...it seems to error at the end of the alphebet of files as if it has run out of memory...this time I got past the v's and it error out in the w files...if this makes any sense.

I am on a TP2 trying to do the WM6.1 kitchen

This newbie would welcome any advice

Have you gone to Control Panel - Windows Update - Optional and made sure you have .net? Also, be sure to run the kitchen as Administrator. You can also Google >net 3.5 and download it off line.

Looked there...thx still learning Win7. Did not see an update for .net available in the list and I am admin for this box. In the uninstall programs I did see .net 3.5 framework in the list so looks like it was added sometime back

Cool, when you launch the kitchen, right click the icon and hit "Run as Administrator". They changed the way the permissions work since XP. It will then let the BAT launch any sub-tasks as admin, and shouldnt throw errors.

I sincerely appreciate your replies...still bombs out this time at the 'w' files processing the wapdrv.dll again seems to be at the end...

Maybe I can call a friend over and try on his XP box...

OK...

When I start the process I select 1 to build a rom

Device - select the touch_pro2 (only choice)
SYS build - select 21055

click OTHER
pp - type 24 (I have a vzw device)
close that window

I change the carrier to Verizon (defaults to Sprint in kitchen)
I double click a few apps I want PIM, Sprite, etc

I change no systems files options and I do not touch any TF options only apps I want that are already in the kitchen

last I save the ROM
Then I click Create

I added nothing in the kitchen and have done this on XP and Win7...I take all the blame what am I selecting wrong or not selecting?

Ohh...all I downloaded was the kitchen for the TP2 v1.2.7...I hope I was not suppose to download any sys files...looks like they are added in the kitchen

I'm been trying to find out how Calk installs *.cab during first boot.

Like is Calkulin's_Touch_Pro_Tweaks.cab

I been looking all over but cant seem to find where or how it does it ..can someone guide me in the right direction ..thank you.

Try not doing the thing in option. I just cooked and installed a ROM on my friends' VZW TP2 no issue, same exact as my sprint but I chneged the carrier over in the kitchen.

Click on Touch_pro2 from drop down to fill in dev id and such, Real AKU, 21055... pretty much the same.

RunCC is in the ROM. I put XDA_UC in too, for my own stuff.

is that what Calk using? RunCC? i think XDA_UC uses mort script ...so thats out of the question ...thanks ill look into RunCC
