i can't seem to get groovefish to work. i'm running the latest kitchen 6.5.x 28014 with sense 2.1. anyone else having the problem or know of a fix? i've tried downloading the latest cab for it and still nothing. it launches but it just hangs when i attempt a search and nothing shows up.

You need to download the fix. Check the Groovefish thread over at xda.

If you cook in an XDA_UC package, you can create an xml for each shortcut you want to move and drop it in your \Storage Card\XDA_UC folder. I do this so I can just cook with the default kitchen and other misc EXTs w/o having to modify all of the .dat files. I just cook, flash, let XDA UC do it's thing, and poof! All my icons are changed and put in the right spots.

Even if I decide to not cook in an app that I have an xml for, it doesn't prevent the rest of the icons from being moved because each shortcut has it's own xml file. If I add a new app, I just create one new xml file.

It's tedious the first round through, but it pays off in the future.

i already downloaded the latest cab off barguast's link at xda... still no worky. any other ideas? this is the first time i haven't been able to use groovefish and it kinda sucks. is there something i may have disabled in the kitchen that would affect this? i checked out youtube and wunderradio and they both work fine.

You need to replace the Groovefish.Web.dll in the \program\groovefish folder with this one attached. (Thanks "Scilor" from XDA for the fix)
