Re: HOW TO: flash a Rom or Radio on your TP2 from the SD card

sorry I didn't respond to the problems, my e-mail on reply apparently isn't working... after flashing you do not need to keep the sd card in, the flash actually is applied to the phones on board rom overwriting were the stock rom used to reside.

Re: HOW TO: flash a Rom or Radio on your TP2 from the SD card

I am having problems flashing my phone from the SD card as well. I have tried using the energy ROM and the Mr. X ROM. I download the files directly from this site to my SD card in the root directory. Then extracted the .nbh file. Renamed it RHODIMG.nbh using Total Commander. Powered down the phone and restarted it holding down the volume down and pressing the power button on the end key. I have a Verizon version. The tri-colored screen came up & for a second it said no image found. then went back to the tri-colored screen again and in the white banding it said serial. I am using a 1 gig Sandisk card. I formatted it using Storage Tools to a FAT 32 with 512 bytes per sector. I can't think of anything else to do.

I bet it is RHODIMG.nbh.nbh

For the file name put RHODIMG only.

I tried that as well. Just downloaded Juicy47's ROM and downloaded it directly to the phone. Renamed the file to just RHODIMG and it done the same thing.

make sure you name it RHODIMG.nbh when I was doing this at first I notoriously kept naming it ROHDIMG.nbh by mistake.

Re: HOW TO: flash a Rom or Radio on your TP2 from the SD card

just tried this out and i like it..

my hard drive recently took a dive and i was stuck with a bad rom.. lots of problems.. i had to wait to flash, i hated it!!

so i figure i try this out so if this ever happens again i have something i know works and i can flash out..

i also flash at night and most of the time i go to sleep, so if i have a problem with the new rom i can always flash on the go..

thanks again

this wont do anything if i flash from a pc and i still have the file in my sd card right?
