Re: [ROM] WM 6.5 and 6.5.3 [11/23/09] NATF's RhodiumW v1.2 [Titanium + TF3D 2.1]
I've fixed all the issues found so far with the current ROMs. I will release them tomorrow night, after a little bit more testing.

NATF,
We cannot tolerate any personal issues that might interfere with our need for your great ROMS. Please make whatever changes at home that are necessary for you to focus on our needs. I cannot believe how selfish you can be... Looking forward to your bulletproof CDMA ROM. Doug M. |

Re: [ROM] WM 6.5 and 6.5.3 [11/23/09] NATF's RhodiumW v1.2 [Titanium + TF3D 2.1]
For those of you who are interested in a battery meter, I have found a couple of resources that will help.
First, all credit goes to the people who took the time to develop the software and tweak files. I just did the research. I have found a battery meter called Ariel Battery Monitor v2.1 found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=556318 The .exe file that you will extract from the zip file will need to be placed in the "\Windows\Startup\" directory. There are some settings that you will have to tweak in order to get the meter to display in the proper position. I right justified the meter, then used the arrows in the settings to move it to the left to cover the stock battery meter. I also had to install a driver that displays the battery meter in 1% increments since the battery driver that is included in the stock roms only display in 10% increments. The driver can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=556318 Obviously, you will need to download the one that is specific to your carrier. I suspect that if you are using Alltel, you will need to use the Verizon one. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to PM me. NATF, sorry to have posted this here in your thread, but I have seen a couple of people here ask about a battery meter similar to the one used on the Touch Pro, and this is the best solution that I could come up with since FInixNOver's battery meter seems to be incompatible with CDMA devices. If you so desire, I can start a new thread with this information, and provide a link to it in this post. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. htcfan78 |

Re: [ROM] WM 6.5 and 6.5.3 [11/23/09] NATF's RhodiumW v1.2 [Titanium + TF3D 2.1]
Thanks for that tip. I'll have to try it.
I'm happy to report that BT works properly in my Nissan! That was a big issue with a lot of WM phones - they had an incompatibility with BT that required a workaround to get it to work. It just works now. Don't know if it's something NATF did, Verizon required, or HTC fixed. I know it didn't work on my GSM Touch Pro even with the 6.5 rom. As always, NATF produced a great rom. Big thumbs up! A few other things I found (both good and potential bugs). I'm new to 6.5 so it may be that I just haven't found the setting (and help would be appreciated there if it's just that Advanced Config seems to work for the most part - didn't muck with the radio settings. I found a program that adds a lot more cities to the weather plug-in. T9 doesn't seem to work. I have it enabled in Settings but it doesn't seem to carry over when writing texts. If I use the Reply option (where it comes up with that other gui to type texts in), T9 and the other settings (autocapitalize, etc) don't work. I get spammed with messages that BT disconnected when I turn off my car. Is there a way to turn that off? What I noticed isn't anything major. I have a general comment, not regarding NATF's ROM, that maybe someone can answer. Is the reception on the TP2 just not that great? Or is it Verizon's network isn't as great as they claim it is? I recently switched from AT&T and in my driving around the Baltimore area and even up into PA over the weekend, most of the time I seem to have 0 to 2 bars for signal strength. Of course, call quality suffers when it's down that low. Even when it drops down to 1x, I still have low signal strength. Are there any radio roms that might help with this? Considering the hype that Verizon's been putting out over AT&T, I expected better than what I've seen so far. At least I had reasonable coverage in the past even if it dropped to GSM in those areas. Thoughts? Super |

Is NATF no more? Anyone heard anything from him lately?

Thanks for a tremendous ROM!
And now for my noob question: How do I set this up with a Sprint phone? |

In theory, you just need to find a CAB that has all of Sprint's settings. I believe MightyMike has a Sprint CAB in his ROM thread.

Re: [ROM] WM 6.5 and 6.5.3 [11/23/09] NATF's RhodiumW v1.2 [Titanium + TF3D 2.1]
Thanks. I did try that, and while it seemed to work for the phone aspect, I could not connect to the internet. Weird?
Would it be too much to ask for to incorporate the JMZ provisioning into your next ROM? I really liked the simplicity of your ROM, but the lack of internet was a bummer! |
