hey, guys. i just paid for the sim unlocker for my old tp2 im selling to a friend on att. we're sitting here waiting on the email and its taking forever. how long till they get one out? i thought it was an automated process... whats up?

accually, i waited 4 hrs. finally opened a help ticket on their website to get the link. it seems it may be a common problem, from the automated help email i recieved, there was a link that said if you hadnt received the initial email to click there and it took me to another page on their site that let me enter the imei angain and my recipt number and it took me to a direct downloaded. that link should just be on the site if you ask me. it was a pain but i finally got it done... i was doing it for a friend. he sat here and waited for a bit. i was unlocking it for him to use his att sim card. hes going to usee it for talk and text only with a data blocker. he has no data plan but wants to use the phone on wifi. i sold him the phone for 100 bucks and an extra 20 for the cid/sim unlock.

I didnt get any email either and unfortunately I didnt save the payment confirmation page so I dont have the confirmation number. I did get a paypal receipt email though. I opened a ticket the other day and no answer. Not sure if it matters but my email is through yahoo (my paypal email). Any support is appreciated, I am so ready to complete the unlock!

Yeah it magically showed up in my SPAM folder today. Thanks for the notification.

I was able to download it and ran almost everything smoothly. The unlocker program finished (I went through the 3 steps in order with no issues). Unfortunately the very last part after the unlocker didnt go well. That is, flashing the radio as required for Sprint phones according to the other thread. I first downloaded the recommended one (1.96.00WU) and tried installing but as it got to 100% it had an error (didnt write it down, something like invalid command) and my phone was stuck in bootloader mode. I had to flash stock ROM to reset. I did the same steps (ran SIM unlocker etc) with the 2nd radio flash thing and same result. I went through the unlocker steps exactly. I cant figure out whats wrong.
