sticky in this forum for HSPL

just connect your phone via activesync/WMDC and then run the HSPL program and then you'll see manual mode button to select.

International GSM should be unlocked - this enables the use of US GSM carriers (T-Mobile/AT&T).

stupid question, why would anyone want to use a gsm network when you're on sprint? What are the advantages?

Re: Sprint Unlocker - RhodiumW WU Radio Unlocked for US Networks

In areas of poor/no CDMA coverage a prepaid GSM SIM could be useful in a pinch. This would also give the freedom to move the phone to another carrier (non CDMA) if so desired (although it doesn't appear that US 3G data speeds are supported).
