WU = unlocked for both CDMA and GSM, WV is for only CDMA and Sprint (GSM) dont really know what that is... LOL

If you are SIM unlocked, in order to use ATT or Tmo, you need WU.

Well I have the TELUS CDMA, and I am using GSM FIDO. So I assumed I should use WU :protest:

EDIT: Here a thank you for sticking with me throughout the process ;)

Here are 3 things I learned the hard way.... :)

1. If file you run unpacks in your same directory you run it, create a folder and run it within that folder. That way if you have another .nbh file it won't get flashed instead of the one you really want flashed.

2. Run as Administrator or it might not even run at all.

3. Hard Reset phone after you do all Radio, HSPL or ROM programming (just to make sure your memory gets wiped out and doesn't act funny.

Another thing, if you have a RhodiumW, make sure if you are using GSM to swtich GSM (not global) and Manual, not Automatic) or Global will always get you connected to CDMA if you have signal. There are other tips & tricks, like setting your ArcSoft & stuff. But after you have your talk, text and get some web working you can then play with the other nifty stuff.

I have heard that the conference call feature works over the GSM network in Europe and other countries. I am in USA and was wondering if I can use this to unlock the GSM capabilities of my TP2 and make conference calls. Let me know if anyone has had luck with this yet.

Now, i aware that were forced to donate for the Sim-Security Unlock, in order to patch the radio. HOWEVER, you can run Customs ROMs after you HARD SPL.
I spent all my money on the phone, so i dont have enough to donate the 20 some-odd dollars to go Sim-Security unlock right now, but what am i not able do do w/o a security unlock. My phone seems fine running eh stock radio. I'm running a juicy rom now on my 1.96.00WF radio, what am i unable to do? What am i paying for? Not that I dont intend on donating, just a lil unclear.
