Hey merdin I been using your new rom but an older version of the 2.5, do you have the fix for the period if people chose to stay with that version?

cab for the period fix is somewhere in this thread dont remeber where too lazy to look through aal the post, but i have the cab. here it is. I also was having the issue with the same thing and just flashed back to stock then back to the rom and it started working just fine. as far as the graphical issue's, disable the weather animation thru max manila that should solve that. Mredin's latest test rom does not have thoose issue's and im sure that he is on.

This version does not have max manila, I am using v2.5.1922.2911.0 Sense UI
and would like to use animation weather. Is their a way to fix that graphical issue on this version?

Merdinh cooked in max manila in his last release including the build you have.

Where the signal icon is there is a white box with a x in it. I had this issue on another rom after i installed a task manger program so im assuming it has it cooked in the rom. Is there a fix for this? Im using the 1.5b rom

The only issues I am having, with the 6.5.3 ROM with Sense 2.5, is that
a) My period key does not work at all on my hardware keyboard (Lol, VERY annoying when doing anything on the keyboard which requires typing, cuz you use periods in everything).

b) My backgrounds get all messed up and mucked up, especially in regards to weather. Its like a distortion or static pixelation image with the video drivers...corruption, maybe.

I am anxiously and patiently awaiting the next rom... cuz I love this one so much, i am willing to stand and wait.... I might just reflash this one and see if that helps...

I love the rom, i was actually talking about the 1-9 version, but i updated and gave max manilla a try. I love it. Specially since there is a new fix for hdwalls to work with 1922 builds. I think ill be stickin with this rom for a while. Couple things.
1st, Im still gettin a graphical blotch on the screen when the animated weather activates. Ive flashed back to stock, did a hard reset on stock, and then flashed to this. I got the glitch in the 1-9 edition, as well as this new 1-18 edition. I love the animated weather, so if there is any other suggestion someone would have to get glitch out of the animation.
2nd, the space bar on the keyboard is blank, it works, but it doesnt say space or nothin. its a black spot. no biggie, but a flaw.
3rd, when in full screen mode, the feild for texting in manilla doesnt line up right. the icons are overlappin the space where the text displays. once again, no biggie, but annoying.
4th, it took me forever to figure out what it was, why does it lock everytime i turn the phone upside down? any way to shut that off? Or is there a way to map it to be the s2u2 instead ofthe standard lock. Or is there a way to make the lock in the bottom right corner of full screen mode, to activate s2u2 instead of the standard lock? EDIT::: i found out it is the auto lock function of max manilla that is makin it lock up. it would be real cool to have it activate s2u2 though.

These are minor things, but i love the whole set, so id prefer to fix these things, and stick with the rom. The biggest thing to me is the weather animation glitch.

Thank you so much for the info on the lock. That was driving me crazy and I just couldn't figure it out.

Like other VZW users I get the NBPCD Current Country error when I run the provisioning. Interesting, I haven't had this problem before with JMZ? Anyway, it appears the NBPCD data base is empty as I cannot choose anything when I drop out of the process. (it puts me into the NBPCD Current Country screen of "phone") I've tried to enter the data (USA, 1, 011) but it doesn't seem to save the data after a soft reset so it can't find it the next time I run provisioning. Also in "phone" the network services tab only has an option for sprint. I figure that's why us VZW users can't get data. My guess is that it's dropping out of the provisioning before the network gets set up. Hope this helps in troubleshooting. I'm back to MM but will check progress, this looks like one sweet rom!

NBPCD deal should not affect data. I have found the data issue should be resolved by going to Connections and under Modem, pick Verizon Wireless (not Auto, which it is likely on) and not VZW Embedded GSM.

You should get a popup when you activate something that uses data, then select Save Password and Ok. You shouldn't need to fill the info in to work.

NBPCD does seem like like a provision issue... Might even be provision/compatibility with 23xxx. I'm not a guru on this stuff.

Though everybody says to run provisions, try a hard reset w/o running provisions and set up data manually. I imagine you won't get the popup with NBPCD deal
