did you try all the trouble shooting steps in post #2?

I have tried a few different USB connections on my computer but not all of them ( i must have like 7 of them some USB 2.0 ), completely removed all Firewal and Anti-Virus protection too. As soon as i run the manual HardSPL i get a Sorry, the HardSPL process closed early dut to an error or the RUU errored out when attempting to flash.

During a manual Hard SPL, I get the phone in bootloader mode first. make sure the connect says USB. The normal warnings are clicked and next pushe then the "updating the ROM image on your PDA Phone" status bar appear on the PC and Computer. Then the computer times out and displays a ERROR [262] Update ERROR Rom Update Utiltiy has encountered communication errors during the update process. The phone never goes into the black screen which is the SSPL at all Just straight into the RUU.

I am running a Windows XP SP3 system
no current antivirus, or Firewall installed
Touch Pro 2 by Sprint SPL Version 0.72
Refurbed Touch Pro 2


would anyone happen to have the SSPL Manual.exe the error screen ask about ever time i receive the error mentioned above.

Any help would be Greatly appreciated.
