When I had retried it, I did completely disable my AVG antivirus (I even ended the task from Windows Task manager).

Anyway, I added the unlocker file to the Potentially Unwanted Programs Exceptions List (PUP Exceptions List). But I'm still facing the exact same problem. =(

you dont have to disable anything, that wont help cause it already caught it once. did you add the whole file name RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3.exe
then redownload it.

might want to add this too RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3_100HSPL.zip

I added both files, and redownloaded the zip. However when I try to extract the zip AVG still "catches" the file and brings it up as a threat. I hit Ignore and tried to open the file, but nothing new has happened.

I just completely uninstalled AVG, and then redownloaded the unlocker and NOW it worked...FINALLY!

Thank you razorloves and flyer2114 for your help!

I have been unlocking and/or reflashing/upgrading WM devices since the Dell Axim days. This peice of crap is like drugs; sure, the first one is free. Try it, you'll like. And then when you "need" again, man your going to have to pay, and pay, and pay. Listen, like I said, if you want to make money from this, I'm fine with it. But when so many users complain about it, can't get their emails answered, and then are told that the ONLY way to get it to work is to jump off a building (turn off your AV and your firewall)......WTF??? I would love the flash my phone, but I really am not that stupid. The product needs to be redesigned, and supported better.

Well you could try it at least. :mrgreen: But you are right, in a way. I read elsewhere on this forum that AVG is now destroying ROM's because it thinks there is a virus in it. Sometime virus checkers can get carried away. :angry7: So is it the developers fault or the Virus checker on overkill? I paid to unlock my replacement phone, but it's only $6 so I really didn't care, I probably would have paid more if needed. But when there is NO competition you can do whatever you darn well please. :protest:

I did try. Several times. Keep giving me error msgs about my phone not being connected. WTF??? And as for no competition, I thought there were laws against monopolies?? The price isn't the issue; it's the way they control the program, don't address user problems consistently, ignore emails.Granted this happens to some extant with almost every business, but I make a real effort NOT to suport those engaged in such practices. I'm also fine if they want to keep it closed source; I have many progrmas that are closed sourced; But they WORK, not like this peice of sh*t. NOT going the drink the cool-aid here. USED to be free to make our own choices in the US. Maybe they will pass a law mandating that i HAVE to use the program :)

There some competition! MRx is working on his own unlocker. I have a copy of it and have it running on my device. so far it's working well. He just said he needs to work on HSPL.

No time frame...the jump spl is still not working....he and Zig work on it when they can....along with work and other projects makes it limited....

Gotcha. What do you mean by a JumpSPL, as compared to a HardSPL Unlocker?

so i have a quick question. Do i have to pay (make a "donation") to unlock my phone using hard spls website. I keep getting an error message regaurding a connection error and what not.

no. you only have to pay if the unlocker says this it detects that you've unlocked before. if you're having connection problems, then look at all the suggestions in post 1 & 2.

What is it saying when you choose the automatic option?

yeah it says it detects something about not being the first time and if i would like to make a donation. So i do have to make a donation to unlock it?

when i do an automatic it doesnt start at all says connection error and then the pop up comes up.

thanks alot man i just got a replacement phone and have been running stock for a week and its been horrible no task manager, and an annoying flip clock.

i recall but the bandwith of the website was out so i couldnt download anything so i figured that could have been the issue also just wasnt sure but now ill try it when i get home from work hah. thanks for ur time

hi there cmonex. and everybody else.. i currently have a sprint HTC TP2. i have a problem with it where i cant tap the screen because it wornt do anything. so i did reinstall the stock ROM to see if i can send it back to HTC to get it fix... i did the fallowing stepps that you wrote in there..>>>>>>>

how to reflash Stock/Shipped SPL: - STEP BY STEP - FOR WARRANTY REASONS ONLY!

0. please make sure you already flashed stock ROM and radio, because stock SPL flash is *always* the last step before sending the device in.
1. download the Relocker by clicking here, extract the zip and run the EXE on your PC
2. if you wish to replace RUU_Signed.NBH that got extracted, feel free to do so, but not necessary (this Hard-SPL will only allow overwrite with a SPL made by us). the included one is the 0.63.0000 stock SPL. 3. flash
4. verify if it flashed by checking version in tricolour screen, it should say 0.63.0000, not 1.00.OliNex.

this is the cdma section of ppcgeeks, so yes it is for your sprint tp2. you just flash the stock rom then flash the relocker.

yes, as long as you flashed the sprint stock shipped rom from the htc website or the stock roms thread on here, then flashed the relocker, you're good to go.

I opened a ticket trying to get my replacement phone unlocked but have not received any response yet. Can anyone tell me if someone actually received a response from them to unlock a replacement phone and how long? I have the feeling that they won't look at my ticket.

No way Cmonex came in here and said they had server issues.....this cant be true that they are ignoring tickets......must be a server issue again:dontknow:....lmao....unbelievable....

Thanks Razorloves, I read your instructions too late. I think they recorded my IMEI number on their server, so it will be rejected until they unblock it.

Hey guys... My TP2 shat the bed and I am following instructions in post to to relock. I download the re-locker and run the application. When it opens a message appears stating "Failed to run RUU. Please try again"

Anyone have suggestions. I need to ship the phone back to Verizon and time is of the essence.

did you extract the relocker first, then right click on the exe and choose run as administrator?
