Yes. I even tried relocking the phone after I was done installing my ROM's but it still would reboot from time to time.

sounds like a bad rom or bad mem card or phone is just going bad. Maybe you're installing something bad. Have you tried flashing the stock rom via activesync?

downloaded it but wasnt online when i tried to flash it and it ddnt work. the file dissapeared like magic from my comp...now when i try to redownload it i get an error message:
File Not Found

Firefox can't find the file at http://hpcmonex.net/htc/rhodw/Rhodiu...R3_100HSPL.zip.
* Could the item have been renamed, removed, or relocated?
* Is there a spelling, capitalization, or other typographical error in the address?
* Do you have sufficient access permissions to the requested item?

its late and i havnt slept much lately so maybe i missed something. sorry for sounding like a noob. ive unlocked other models (mogul/touchpro)and ive flashed the stock win 6.5 upgrade for my tp2 with no problem...really wanted to run mightyrom =( help.

Well I've changed ROMs a couple times. How would you know if you have a bad memory card? And yes I've flashed via activesync.

This is crap crap crap. They say to turn off AV AND firewall to use their crap software. Only a idiot and a fool would do that is this day and age!! The concoct this elaborate extortion setup where they take peoples money, and answer few if any complaints. They never answer their email or take months to, they have dozens of unhappy users and customers, they have Pay Pal investigating their activities. What we really need is somebody to make a hard spl unlocker. If they want to charge for it fine; But give us something better that this piece of sh*t, and the a**holes who profit of it.

:mrgreen: Heck I uninstalled my AVG to unlock my phone. :twisted: And no silly virus attacked my system. In between the time I uninstalled AVG and unlocked my phone, then reinstalled AVG. Of course I didn't go to any other sites or do anything else while I was waiting the whole <5 minutes. :silent: But I do have this program called Rollback RX installed on my computer, and if some silly virus got to my computer I would just Rollback to my to a previous boot up, before a virus. :evil4:

i had two replacements yesterday and used a different computer with a different internet connection on each and the unlocking process when smooth as butta!!!

it is just a sign of a badly written peice of crap. If you had bothered to run it against some AV you see it it INFECTED with a Trojan; Oh sure they tell you it is the compression. But when you get a bunch of AV's screaming VIRUS, well, just pick up the nearest gun, point it at your head, and pull the trigger; it isn't really loaded!

Well if I saw 100 people pick up that gun, pull the trigger and nothing happened except they became very happy, I would probably be willing to do the same. I mean read and read, there are now a LOT of unlocked TP2's out there. And guess what, not one person died or suffered a virus attack. (Unless they went to a porno site while downloading it) And 90% of the people who have had no problems at all, you will never here from again. Because they don't bother to post and say "Thanks a job well done" You don't go to the complaint department in a store and tell the person behind the counter what a great job the store personal are doing, do you? If you do then I commend you, you probably make a lot of folks happy.

hey guys im having issues trying to unlock the hspl. I just got a replacement phone from verizon and it wont let me unlock it. The automatic option doesnt work and the manual option gets stuck on the the percentage screen and gets stuck at 0%. Plz help i hate the stock rom!

Did you get the warning that it is not for commercial use? if you did, then you need to make a donation and it will unlock after that. there is no way to unlock it if you already tried it and you got the "not for commercial puposes" warning.

just to reiterate what hypeo said...
If you're unlocking a replacement TP2 or if this is not your first time unlocking a TP2, you need to get on a different computer and different internet connection from what you used to unlock before. If you don't do that, then they will detect that you've unlocked before and then your phones IMEI number will be recorded and blocked, thus forcing you to submit a ticket and wait or choose the donate/pay option in the unlocker and give up 4 GBP. Choosing the donate/pay option will allow the unlocker to continue instantly

Hey Everyone!

Thank you so much to CMONEX for all his work on the Hard SPL!

I have just now gotten a chance to start looking at different ROMs and such. I went to the website http://rhodiumw.htc-unlocks.com/hard-spl.php. I tried following the directions for HardSPL. But nothing happens for me.

My problem has not been address in the Notes or Troubleshooting sections. I have PMed CMONEX and haven't received a response either.

Pretty much, I have just hard reset my phone. I connected it and synced it to my Windows Vista computer through USB with WMDC. I downloaded the latest HardSPL (RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3.exe). Unzipped it to an empty folder. Now when I double click on the EXE. NOTHING HAPPENS. That's it. Nothing pops up at all. I am connected to the internet also. I even try to run it as an administrator.

I would appreciate if you could please help me out. Thank you!

Sounds like your anti-virus may be eating it....did you dis-able it?

you have to right click on it and choose run as administrator, then if you have problems after that, then listen to what flyers said above.

Thanks for the input. I tried it yet again on a completely different computer (Windows XP), disabled the antivirus software, and ran from the Admin Logon.

BUT, still absolutely NOTHING happens. Like when double click on the program, my cursor blinks for a second and that's all.

So then I right clicked on the EXE and went to properties, there I saw a button that said "unlock" so I clicked it. Then I tried again, and it then gave me a popup error that said "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." I don't understand why since I am using my admin logon.

I again went back to my laptop with Vista (that I originally tried it on), and did the same properties, unlock button thing, and then hit "Run as Administrator", and I got the error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." on that laptop as well.

Any more suggestions please?

ok..now you have antivirus interfering, like flyers said. you have to open avg and add the unlocker file name to the exception list
