hi i recently donated for the unlocker and i got a new phone due to a defect and i would love to unlock my phone again and i would not have to pay again since i already did once. i do appreaiate all your guys hard work to get this going and have people like me enjoy it. please send me the donation code again so i can be a happy person again. i am so sick of this stock rom thanks again cant wait to hear back from you.

dont know who you're talkin to, but the unlocker is not a one time pay. You have to pay each time. Go back a couple posts and read what i posted. should help you understand it.

Thanks. I tried opening another ticket; System said I reached maximum number of tickets. This is asinine and B.S. I guess it's worth the six dollar gamble to see if it works; there really isn't another option available. *sigh*

I tried using it from a diff Internet connection and computer razorloves, didn't work from my work computer or home computer. I also tried it from my laptop using my neighbor's wifi (shhh...). No go. :(

So will this still work with the server error? This will be my first time doing anything like this for a phone (I have flashed other devices such as ds and psp with custom stuff but never a phone) so I don't want to mess something up if it won't work because of the server thing. Thanks!

I went ahead and tried it anyway it worked fine, no problems at all I'm now using mighty rom, thank you to everyone who worked on this project ant to anyone who has made a helpful post about this!! ^_^

How did you get it to work? I've used this program so many times, but for some reason now it just sits at 0 percent and gives me an error. I just got my 3rd replacement from verizon and I want to unlock it.

I got it to work by reading ;)

If you've already done it before you have to pay or it will not work it says this maybe 1,000s of times ;) Try using a different internet connection and/or computer or pay the 4 euro.

I have to say though I hope I can find a way to get back to the original stock rom, I'm not liking this at all... :/ Hopefully getting rid of crappy sense, installing spb mobile shell, and doing some other stuff will make it actually usable. Can't find a way to get rid of the tactile feedback crap with the onscreen keyboard either, so gotta install another keyboard as well... The way sense handles messages really REALLY bites too. I think once I get rid of sense and get something that isn't so horrible I'll be happy with mighty rom.

there's 3 different stock verizon roms available, you can flash which ever one you want. they're in the stock roms sticky thread

Once I got rid of sense, installed spb mobile shell and keyboard, etc it's fine now, I just really don't like sense, got rid of it the first day I bought this phone over a year ago and never looked back ;) Once again thank you to everyone who worked on this project and all the HELPFUL advice people have given here!! ^_^

i just got a replacement touch pro 2 from sprint and the unlocker tool says ive already unlocked a phone which was my old phone how do i unlock the new phone

I think that you have to pay for the new unlocker.

You can also do what razor recommends, new pc and a new connection.

i am not a noob. i had a touch diamond and i unlocked and flashed roms many times. i'm not an expert either.

i keep getting errors.
QUESTION:
does my phone have to be activated on sprint in order for the unlocking to work? i currently have two phones i just got online, and i want to install custom roms in them first before i activate one of them and sell my diamond.

obviously my phone is synced to my computer. i can transfer files and in the WinMo Center it says "connected" in green. i have two TP2's on hand and both are reacting the same way. I tried a diff computer and the same response.

i don't think it has to be activated. I know it can't be in airplane mode. Did you install the cab file?

i did, on both phones.... but it took less than 1 sec to complete the cab install....
is there a specific place to install it? what does the cab do? do i have to open a program after the cab installs?

i'm using RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3
it is immediate. if i choose "Flash Hard-SPL" (Automatic flash) i get the error immediately. if i choose "Manual Flash" it will take me through all the steps then show the error. it never hangs (waits) and then gives me the error, it also never gets to the 3 color screen or the 0% grey screen.

i tried to just flash energy rom directly without unlocking (thinking maybe its already unlocked), using that method i got to the 0% screen. about 2 min later it froze and i rebooted the phone and it was fine.

but the fact that the the ruu for the energy rom did not encounter the "not-synced" error msg shows that it is synced.

it seems synced, i can transfer files, etc...

one variable could be that on first attempt, i had avast, threatfire, and comodo running. it came up as a trojan and all of those things went crazy. threatfire even asked me if i wanted to elimiate the processes, i think i clicked the wrong button cuz after that my RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3 zip and extracted files were both erased. i have since turned everything off.

HOWEVER. i tried on a second pc where everything was turned off and i still got the exact same results. also the second pc was never used with my touch diamond, where as my primary pc is the one i used to unlock the diamond a while back

when you choose automatic, is it giving you the exact message you posted above? Or is it telling you that they've detected that you've unlocked before?

its telling me the exact msg i posted, it does not say that i've unlocked before

UPDATE - i just flashed it with sprint's stock rom, and it worked fine... once again showing that the phone is properly synced.... but the RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3 just wont work.
is there an older version of this.... i'm trying to read the 199 pages of this thread but its hard to find.

have you tried redownloading it? and are you sure your av and firewall software is temporarily disabled. It must be disabled before you even download it. Also, might need to add it to the exceptions in your av software. The hard spl unlocker does not work like RUU's that you're use to, so dont be expecting the usual bootloader screen and grey progress screen.

Help Please with the unlocker.
Harware/Software
1. Sprint TP2
2. Windows XP

This is my first attempt at it, I tried it and got the message I have tried it before. I have already done the following
1. Bootloader
2. Run as administrator
3. HARD RESET
now I am getting a connection error message, it says the device is not connected. This is my first phone that I am trying to unlock.

Can this be fixed only by paying? How much donation do I have to make for it to work? Also, what happens after I make the donation, do I get a key or something?

The connection error is one ive seen with xp and active sync. you pretty much have to keep plugging it in until you get active sync to work. (try soft reseting if replugging it in does't work). If after it says you still unlocked before it you can make a donation and i think its like 6 or 7 us dollars and it just runs the unlocker once it donation has been made. hope this helps.

Also Razorloves I thought that I would drop a couple thanks your way since I see you always helping alot of the noobs with the TP2 and TP and not receiving any thanks.

It is automatic. The moment you pay, just try the unlocker again and it will go smoothly.

Can anyone tell me why the unlocker .exe, within the zip file is coming up as a trojan horse virus file?

I can't seem to get past this virus thing, AVG will not let me past to run the exe file. I also keep getting this "I do not have permissions to execute" thing, any ideas?

PC is a Vista, with AVG for anti-virus

i really don't like helpin people that can't even read the first post. it is said a bazillion (lol) times in here, including the first post. it's a false postive. there is no virus. You have to disable your av software. If it still doesn't work, then you have to open avg and add the file to the exception list. There's detailed instructions in here on how to do it.

when you run the unlocker and choose automatic, and it tells you that it detects that you've unlocked before...that is when you choose the option to donate and it will automatically be set at the minimum donation of 4gbp, which equals $6.18 at todays exchange rate. So, after you pay the 4gbp, it will allow the unlocker to run.
