1.21.651.4 is the sprint rom version number. has nothing to do with the hspl unlocker. so, the answer to your question is no.

Just did the HSPL and the phone hard reset afterwards... I don't remember it hard resetting mine... hmmm..

Edit: Well it went through the whole process, phone hard reset when it was done, and upon loading bootloader it shows the stock BL still...??

judging from your question earlier, it sounds like you got a little mix up going on. the hard spl unlocker is not 1.21.651.3...that is the sprint rom version number. So, if that's what you flashed, then all you did was flash the stock sprint rom, which would cause a hard reset.

haha, you're right... I was showing her that if she doesn't like flashed ROM's or whatever she can always go back to stock and I loaded up the stock rom to show her an low and behold, never closed out of it ](*,)

Naa but it's no biggie, she just got her phone so I synced her TP1 with MyPhone and lost all that stuff but it's cool cuz I just flashed Mightys 2.1 ROM with MyPhone built in so she'll have it all back ina minute... Thanks for the reminder though man I feel stupid for even doing that lol...

Im trying to relock my phone, and its not doing it. I need to send it for warranty cause a couple of my keys dont wanna work right every now and then. I need some help. i try to run the RhodiumW_SPLRelocker_063.exe but it doesnt really do anything, a couple security windows popup and i click allow, but after that nothing. Please help!

make sure you extract it from the zip file first, then right click on the exe file and choose "Run as administrator"

im trying to unlock my replacement verizon tp2 and when i click on the unlocker it says that its a trojan when i try to extract it and removes it from my computer what gives? its the same file that ive had on my computer for months to unlock my tp2's...

is there a way to turn that mcaffee off for a second so i can try to unlock my phone?

I just receive my tp2 replacement from uscc and i checked the spl and it was 0.70.0000 stock not the 0.63.0000 stock if i flashed my phone and have troubled flashing it back will there be a problem if i have the 0.63.0000 stock instead of the 0.70.0000 stock????

flashing the rom will toast your contacts, but if they're synced (i.e. via google or your computer) then once you put on the new ROM everything can easily be restored.

easy way to back up your contacts is just copy the pim file on the root of your device and place it on storage card using total commander.then after flashing a rom copy and paste it from storage card back to root of device.

I cant seem to open the new hspl unlocker, im not sure y, everytime i try to open it it sais windows cannot access the specified device, i keep running it as admin but still nothing i even go to properties but still nothing. I have no clue whats going on with it i never had so much problems with an unlocker before..im running 64bit vista. Anyone please help, i keep trying an old tp2 unlocker but its asking me to update and takes me to the same page.

I have basically disabled everything i had avg running and i had avast running and their both disabled. The old hspl works and i get the automatic or the manual flash screen..but the new one wont even open to let me allow it.

Trust me, if you can't run it at all and it seems like it's disappearing or it's missing then it's a virus/malware/somesortof scanner. Double check everything, disable services, add the file to the exclusion list of all applications, etc.

Also make sure that if you have ever unlocked a TP2 from your computer or IP address to use a different computer and IP address before you try to unlock your friend's device.

Ok i just tried on my laptop which is running windows 7, and with this its a whole different problem. I cant even extract it, its an empty extract, it wont even extract on my desktop it makes believe it extracted it but i cant locate the file.

Ok i think i finally found out the problem but still dont know how to resolve it. I tried to extract the rhodium file with winzip and its telling me that windows is blocking the file from getting extracted..winrar wouldnt show me anything, i dunno how to add it anywhere to make me unblock the file i tried right clicking it and it didnt show me an option to unblock it. Anyone that knows windows 7 please need major help with this.

This laptop has mcaffee installed but the firewall has been turned off and there is no other antivirus running on it atm, and it still wont let me unzip the file.

Go into your system services (start | run | services.msc) and stop all of the mcafee services then try again.

I paid three times but the HardSPL wont unlock my phone, I recently got my TP2 replaced and upgraded from XP to Win 7 but the Unlocker wont unlock my phone. I followed instructions and submitted a ticket at support.htc-unlocks.com, two as a matter of fact but I get no response? Is there another way to contact CMONEX because I tried and it been 2 weeks and no has followed up?](*,)

I have been getting an error with USB sync. I tried running SSPL-Manual-RhodiumW on the Phone but it just freezes rather than going blank. I also tried installing enablerapinew.cab. My active sync is working otherwise with the phone. Any ideas?

"wont unlock your phone" is not very detailed. how about letting us know what is going on so that maybe we can help you out. what are you doing exactly and what troubleshooting steps have you tried.

The Unlock worked perfectly for me! I have not confirmed in bootloader yet but process was prefect! At first ran into many errors but did the following:
My steps to successful unlock:
1. Disabled AVG
2. Disabled SpyBot
3. Added file to DEP
(instructions on how to do the above can be found by a simply google search)
4. Rebooted - for AVG settings (services to stop) to take
5. Followed the instructions above and worked like butter.
Good luck everyone. Will load a ROM later tonight.

It's as simple as it sounds! I've used both automatic and manual flash. Automatic tells me there a usb sync problem (which is false) then a smaller window pops up and tells me use manual if you have problem with auto=D>! So I use manual and everything is going swimmingly, it even tells me what version I'm on and the update will put me at 1.00 opril something! then error we see that you use this and if you want to use for commercial use etc.... then a smaller window pops up with alternatives and states if you pay you can use instantly.......I paid three times already!!!:protest: I sent cmonex a pm on this site and xda?
