it runs fine on the device. are you extracting it first, like the instructions say? after extracting you will have SSPL-Manual-RhodiumW_V1_01.exe file and then you copy it to your phone and run it.

I am having the same problem it seems a lot of people have had with the latest Rhodium W Unlocker. It tells me it isn't for commercial usage, that it's detected a previously unlocked phone. This is my first TP2 ever, so that's not possible. I attempted both Automatic and Manual options. It simply gives me the 246 error in the manual mode, and on another forum it states simply to go to a particular website and put the information there and all that happens is you get an email with a request for donation to fix the problem and it guarantees it will work.

I'm a bit wary of providing money for something I have no way of getting a return on, no way of being guaranteed a fix. And on some forums they say the delay between donation and unlocking can be some weeks. I'm just wondering if there is anything else to try before I just stick with the Stock ROM?

yea...it sucks man. but unfortunately those are your only 2 options. Follow instructions in first post to submit a ticket and wait....possibly forever, from what people are reporting now. Or, just pay the 4gbp, which equals $5.75 right now. You run the unlocker and when it tells you that you've unlocked multiple devices, you choose the donate option and pay the money and it works. it's all automated.

You would think that if they are accepting donations, they would tend to peoples questions. I've had a ticket open with them for over 2 months and still no sight or even a response saying that they are looking into it.. If they require money be sent for unlocking, the least they could do is respond to questions.

Yeah, it will work once you "donate". It worked for me. My ticket is still open that I submitted weeks ago.
