I turned off anti-virus and firewall on my XP machine and rebooted my computer. I then right click on the RhodiumW-HardSPL_V10R3 and "run as" administrator. I keep getting the following two errors:

Error 1) "Please make sure the device is properly synced; Please retry after syncing the device (via Activesync or Windows Mobile Device Center)"
Note: I can copy files to my phone so I think I am synced properly.

Error 2) "If you could not get the device preperly syncedk then try installing this CAB on your phone: http:/hpcmonex.net/roms/enablerapinew.cab and retry in Auotmatic flash mode"
Note: I have installed the enablerapinew.cab even though I am getting this error.

I then tried hard resetting my phone and running SSPL-Manual.exe from the phone but it just freezes and doesn't go into tricolour mode.

Any help is appreciated as I am out of ideas.

Thanks for the intel bro.i wanted to relock my sprint tp2 but did not know i had to 1st run as administrator since im on vista.

You may be connecting as a storage device at which point active sync will not be running. if you open " My Computer" and see a removable drive that disappears when you unplug your phone then thats exactly the problem.

Does any1 have an idea where can I find the unlocker/hard SPL for htc touch pro2 because the 1 listed here on the first post does not allow me to unlock more than 2 devices. I have tried contacting cmonex and olipro but have not gotten any response. any help will greatly be appreciated.

this is the only one. if you're that desperate, then just pay the few dollars and you get unlocked instantly.

I've had an open ticket for about 8 days now - I'm on my 2nd replacement, and was hoping to get my replacement phone unlocked :(

Pmeunier, I was also wondering if I am getting a proper ActiveSync connection. The ActiveSync porgam on the phone and computer both say I am connected.

There are so many people having issues (paid or unpaid) that I think the exploit to run HardSPL has been closed. It is disappointing that I have had a support ticket open for two weeks that has gone unanswered. I guess I will have to wait for the Sprint update for WM 6.5 which will hopefully be released soon.

it has not been closed. you're just one of the small percentage of people that are having a problem with the unlocker.

I agree Razor........I have un-locked and re-locked numerous times...had replacements worked no problem....I personally think and I am not pointing any fingers......some people are trying to get around donating period...I have un-locked additional phones for others and just simply paid...never needed any sort of ticket....works great for me...just my 2 cents....
