it seems to be that option (faster sync) in the second photo. leave it disabled. (though if it was always disabled, it's worth a shot enabling it. but usually works better disabled.)

anyway, it sounds like the program isn't even getting as far as talking to the phone. when you click ok, afterwards do you still see it running in taskmanager?

When I click OK, program stays in Task manager for barely 10-15 seconds and vanishes. Also sometimes I lose the Activesync connection after trying to run hard SPL, after I click OK but not always., It also says this device can perform faster if connected to USB 2.0. But I guess all my desktop ports are USB 2.0. I have tried this through my office laptop. Same issue.

okay,I just send ticket there..I got this RHOD*** device somewhere at HongKong..currently I use Sprint Stock ROM win 6.5 and everything works perfect,just curios why cant do hardSPL..thanks for your help.

Any help on this please? I have been trying for few weeks now and no luck on hard-SPL on my Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2. Also when I run "SSPL-Manual-RhodiumW_V1_01.exe" on my device, it freezes up so I can not use manual option either.

I'm new to this whole phone stuff.. first touch phone i've ever had, is this, htc touch pro2. I just got it a few days ago used and try to go and activate it with tmobile, but they said it's locked for verizon, I guess meaning that I can only use it with a verizon contract.. Verizon is way to expensive for me, so following this tutorial,

You're telling me it will unlock the phone and I can now use it with whatever? Like Tmobile?

im not watching vid. but ya if you unlock it you can then go through the steps to switch carriers but this thread is just for unlocking the device.

Alright so just triple checking, I follow the steps, and my touchpro2 is unlocked from verizon, and tommorrow I can go and activate it with tmobile?
Sorry, I'm just shocked, I was just fixing to pay 40 dollars to have it unlocked at a local store, had no idea it could be this easy

its easy to unlock but getting it on t-mo is not so easy and no you cant go tomorrow you cant go activate on t-mo. start a new thread in tp2 forum for that process after your unlocked cause i dont wanna clutter up this thread with questions other than getting phone unlocked outa respect to op.

I got a sprint htc touch pro 2 yesterday, still on sprint network.
I want to enable the wifirouter on it.
It looks like I should update the rom to mighty.
So I need to unlock the HSPL, that lead me to here.

I haven't read through all the 226 pages, but I did read the first page carefully and try to follow it.

And I got that pie chart rotating and then frozen.

here is what I have done:

1. I upgrade the rom to stock 6.5 first by the "HTC Touch PRO2 MR1.exe"
2. I try the "Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe" it do the "rotating wheel" and frozen
3. I downgrade the rom to stock 6.1 by "RUU_Rhodium_W_Sprint_WWE_1.21.651.3_RS_1.96WF_NV_ SPCS_1.42_0430_PRL60652_Ship.exe"

5. I turn the enable faster data synchronization off
6. same as 2
7. I update the .net framework to 4.0
8. same as 2


9. And I noticed that the Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe is not locked to single use.
but when I try to use "RhodiumW_HardSPL_V1_10_R3.rar" my antivirus sophos report error.
10. Trun of the on-access scan and windows firewall
11. I got the error saying that is for non-commercial use only. I am not commercial, maybe when I try on different rom, does it recoginize it as a different handset?


what can I do now?
