Still some key things missing from the phone settings preference menu? Still unable to run windows live or messenger.

Y4J,
I'm running the Betatest3-1. I installed it as soon as I received the link this morning. The installation was extremely uneventful. Everything happened exactly as it was supposed to. After the install and provisioning...I gave her one more soft reset. Since that I've installed Groveshark, Phonefusion, and Total Commander. Everything is working perfectly except...yes there is a but....Picture mail.

I was able to send a picturemail from the album. However, after the picture mail was sent, the screen on the phone went blank. But the backlight was still on? Does that make since. The only way I could get back to the today screen was by pressing the hard buttons. But even then, there were "remnants" of another screen left behind. A simple soft reset fixed the problem...and I haven't worried about it since.

Looking good!!! Very good.

Oh yeahh....I changed the wallpaper on the today screen and the weather animations continued. That's a big plus!! Would there be any way to include wallpaperalltabs cab with this? Maybe preinstalled??

I'm going to keep this ROM running until I can't stand it and have to flash again. But this thing is ROCK STEADY!!!

Update....I found something that doesn't work. The "audiobooster" is a no go. I can't activate it.

Also, I placed around 30 calls today each avg around 5 min and around 20 sms and 5 mms and my bluetoothe has been on all day. I also did some light internet browsing and right now my battery is at 59% I would have to say that's really amazing!!!

Sounds like a great rom...does it work with Verizon?

Answered my own question..since there are Verizon testers...My guess is that it does work with Verizon

Allright...Y4J...I've given her a good run and besides what I posted above I think there might also be some sort of memory leak??. What happens is this occassionally, maybe twice today....she will just become unresponsive. At that point I have to soft reset her using the stylus. That's no biggee for me.

I've installed SPB Radio, SPB Data manager, telenav and sprint nav, groove fish, total commander and Fusion Voice mail plus.

Thanks for allowing me the chance to run the beta.

same problem here. becomes unresponsive. have a frozen screen, and have to reset.

Here's a problem I got with Beta3
The phone is trying to send a picture message to "no recipients" over and over. Yet in every mail account folder(sms/mms, outlook, my imap account), I can find no mail to be sent.
Other than that this has been the best ROM I've used so far.

EDIT: Finally after a few soft resets its gone.

i tried to flash the y4j rom and it hung at 22%. manually put it in bootloader, tried again and got stuck at 7%. i tried a diff. rom and it worked fine. imma try y4j again maybe after an update. it has been out almost 3 weeks now anyway.

Y4J hasn't posted on this thread in over two weeks. I think he has moved on. Too bad. I made a donation a couple of weeks ago and doubt he even received it. (No acknowledgment)

I have not given up at all guys!!! I was working on my 6.5 build...i have the 6.1 ready for full release...i wanted to release both at the same time in one unified thread to eliminate clutter. MGK i replied directly to your email thanking you for your donation it was greatly appreciated!!!
