I ask because the rom i installed for sprint was nice but had to load some other crap to make the picture text msg work so i just dont want to have the same problem with the stock one . Sadly i cant text the phone because im no longer with sprint . any help
Flashing the sprint rom will be STOCK. Like the day you bought it.

But I cant see why you dont like the TP2, Have you tried the MM 6.5 sense 2.1 rom? I assure you, you will love you TP2 from that day on

Re: Rhodium_W Stock Rom Thread [Telus VZW SPCS USC] UPDATE 1/15/10

Thanks for the stock roms

Just wondering why it took a lot longet to flash sprint stock than it does to flas say a fully loaded Energy rom?

Also, did I make a mistake by not doing the screen alingnment and letting the customisations run on the stock rom before flashing over it with a new rom?

Talking Re: Rhodium_W Stock Rom Thread [Telus VZW SPCS USC] UPDATE 1/15/10

Flashed from the 11/28/09 version of Mr. X to the new Verizon 6.5 ROM with the new radio included. That was two days ago and I find that the new Verizon ROM is stable and easy on the battery. Use thus far indicates that the new radio software with the ROM provides for better reception than my prior radio software. The new Verizon ROM appears to have fewer lost connections even in my area where there is often limitations on reception/transmission. Also not having the problems with the phone auto-dialing as I did with the Mr. X....apparently the touch sensitivity is not as great. Overall, I like this new Verizon 6.5 stock ROM, even though not is not as fast as the 11/28/09 Mr. X release.

Looking forward to using this ROM for a few days and then flashing to the 1/21/10 Mr. X release to give it a try. I'm sure that it will be a pleasure to try out as well as Mr. X stands out in keeping the ROM lean and mean.

Possible to Update Radio Only

Sorry if this question is extremely basic, but if I'm satisfied with Verizon stock WM 6.1 ROM, except for the problem of getting stuck in 1X data mode, is it possible to upgrade only the radio software from the WM 6.5 package, without upgrading the entire OS?

Really, there are only two reasons why I don't just upgrade to the full WM 6.5 package. First, I have several 3rd party programs that I know work in WM 6.1, but not sure if all of them will work in 6.5. Second, I've read several threads about the new Verizon ROM having much poorer battery life.

Thanks.

Question Which Bluetooth Stack? Microsoft? Widcomm?

I've read in these forums somewhere that the Verizon WM 6.5 Stock rom has the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack as opposed to the Widcomm Bluetooth Stack.

Can anyone verify that?

I want to use MobileSrc MobileRemote but it ONLY works with the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack.
