Hey JD, is there any chance you could post the kitchen that you use for this rom like for the TP?

I was wondering if there is any way to speed up text messaging. I'm not sure if its related to manila's sense UI trying to process SMS messages or what, but it's extremely slow. Your rom would be perfect otherwise, even at its second release. If you can give some tips (reg edits or otherwise) or incorporate some kind of speed-up in the next rom, it would be extremely helpful.

Keep up the good work. We (my entire family is using TP2's) feel extremely lucky that you are developing for this phone.

We are all appreciative of your excellent work.

I'm thinking it has to do with Sense UI's SMS service and WM's Service trying to process the same SMS message at the same time. Or it might just be the always present UI lag in manila. All of the roms I've tried have had this same problem, except for the pure titanium builds that are clean of any manila bits.

I've somewhat confirmed this by building a rom without the manila messaging service. It is much faster. Infinitely faster.

im back again. lol happy as a pig in shit too, i even brought some people from another rom with me who are sick of mms issues. i swear i can feel my nerves calming as i set up rom now.

Thanks for guiding me to the "promised land." I too "drank" the juice and thank goodness it didn't kill (brick) me.

I'd say once the MMS issues are resolved with the other ROMs (not this, "it worked for me, can't guarantee it will work for you" garbage), I'll be switching. Too many unknowns with the other cooked ROMs (I've tried 3 of them) but, I do appreciate all the efforts made by the talented chefs out there. I'm sure it's a matter of time before all this will be ironed out. Keep cooking!

Had to hardreset for second time in a week. I pretty much have everything installed the same way as previous rom, but the phone gets frozen when I do a softreset after shortcut error in last tab/screen. The memory usage was 85% when I got the error. Never had this problem before and it's very strange. Not a huge deal since I do have sprite back up, but is anyone had this problem? I think I'll try not to use the last programs tab this time and see how it goes.

can you pm me a list of what you have installed and maybe we can narrow it down for you
