Ok, I found solution to my SmartLocking locking issue on xda. It is not related to the ROM but seems to be a SmartLock bug:

1) I press the power button to suspend-lock device.
2) I slide open the keyboard which unlocks itself.
3) Now the device won't relock itself by dim.
4) If I hit lock softkey in my programs menu it will lock itself and relock by dimming as it should.

Number (3) above is exactly what I was experiencing. Locking the device manually once as in number (4) seems to reset it or something and it works great again after that.

Not 100% sure what you are asking, but if you are asking how to flash JD's Rom, here you go.

1-download, and extract Custom RUU from CFay's thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=90076

2-download the rom you desure.

3-extract the downloaded desire, and rename it RUU_signed.nbh

4-Put the RUU_signed.nbh in to the Custom RUU folder.

5-Make sure the phone is synced, and flash away by executing the Romupdateutility..

quick question - why is MyPhone_beta installed by default? It requires installing the new version immediately and resetting the device. If it is due to login issues, that can be explained by the @other entry box being confusing (you have to put@yahoo.com in that box by erasing the @other). I know that was my issue and it made me feel dumb... then mad that M$ made the UI so confusing

loving the rom JD. This is by far the best one yet!!!! Love that you are using M$ start menu, even though i kinda miss the other one now lol. Nice and fast and i think you have a winner. I think you can move on to the next project.
