So I'm assuming the .07 release is quite fast as it has almost no additional software included? Also how much memory is available on boot?

and one last thing, is there a place where I can go to download all the cabs i usually use like the youtube application and album and such?

Also every time I try to download the .07 release and extract it, Winrar tells me the .nbh file is corrupt so I cant install the ROM, is there a working link or mirror?

I am updating the links in the first post as Mediafire continues to have corruption issues.

Also, unfortunately, the time has come for my WM/WP ROMs to end. I have wiped out WM and flashed my Vogue with Linux/Android and will be devoting my time to learning and working on Android and Android phones. Especially after today's ridiculousness from Microsoft. I will also be working a lot with Android on my TP2 in order to learn Android and start developing on Android. As such, my time to build any ROMs for the TP2 will be very limited and I will only be releasing one if there is a build leaked with some major changes. I will also be getting a Supersonic by June hopefully (if the rumors pan out), and then I will be completely done with WM/WP.

So, (barring anything crazy happening) this may well be my final ROM. I know there are plenty of other great chefs who will continue to build great ROMs (though none as stripped and up-to-date as mine ). I will check this thread from time to time. Thanks for all the donations and feedback. Maybe I will see you in the Android forums in the future. So long and farewell.

Sad to hear you going, this ROM has been really great for me now, just waiting to fix the corruption issue with .07 and I may have found my perfect ROM. Well thanks for all your help, hopefully well have a 100% working android build for the TP2 soon and I too will switch over to android completely.

MS announced basically all the details of WP7 yesterday. The key parts are as follows:

No copy/cut/paste
No multitasking
No 3rd party apps from anywhere except the MS app store
No removable storage allowed
No 3rd party UIs
MS can remove an installed app from your phone
Etc

You get the picture. WP7 will basically be a crippled iPhone...

Yea sounds like WP7 is just a Zune with phone capabilities, pretty much taking an iPhone and giving it a different UI. Hopefully microsoft will continue to update Windows mobile 6.5.x then as the UI is actually developing along quite nicely, and a snapdragon processor would make it actually quite fast i believe, either that or it may be time to switch to android. If only i wasnt so limited by SERO
