If flashing a ROM, yes it does. However, type32 prevents the hard-reset, so it should only be used when not actually modifying the ROM. For the sake of stability, it is recommended to do a hard-reset anyways, but most of the time it is not necessary.

Is there a version of this anywhere that does do a hard reset? There are a couple of ROMS out there that don't include it...

Or do the ROMs automatically hard reset anyway?

Roms automatically wipe out the OS partition where most user info is store. This RUU is more for flashing radios and SPL's and splash screens.

Sorry guys, no im not back. Im at LSU in Baton Rouge now studying electrical/computer engineering. All my time goes to school and working on a project im doing . Yes I still have my bike and ride it everyday to class and such. I have a Ninja 500r and ive maxed it out so its about time for a new bike lol. Maybe an R1 or something.
