Its worth pointing out that the version of Showcase that is included in the 23081 rom is actually the version mean just for WM 6.5.

There is a newer version meant for 6.5.x builds, it handles the new style X location and such. Only problem is no settings program you have to edit the registry to change options.

Also ... stability wise I have been chugging along with the Nov 3 build of 23081 since the morning it was out and except for one or 2 programs not closing properly and some delays when I switch to landscape and type before the screen changes, its has been very stable for normal use.

Oh yeah, another thing worth noting. The htc Wifi Router (not WMWifiRouter) works just fine with this build. I didn't try the usb tether but I installed the WifiRouter and it works right off. A word of caution ... it straight up eats battery life like candy keep that in mind but if your in the field with a random laptop and no usb cable it will do just fine.

USB tethering works great and connects at 10 mBit. Not sure if this is normal connection speed/type though..

Yeah the tether should connect fast to phone but your actual connection to the interwebs will vary.

The wifi connects from phone to laptop at 54mbs but a speed test to speakeasy at my current locaton is 1650Kbps which is dandy for most stuff but compared to my cable modem at 11200Kbps its slow

Ill have to test the next time I have full bars and see what she does.

Can someone please check the following:

Go to your internet tab of tf3d. Click on bookmarks. Is there a folder labeled 420 with two links to pages on pot?

If so, that's really unprofessional and could get those of us that use the phone for work in serious trouble. I certainly didn't put those links there so either my phone is compromised or NGR cooked them in. Also, I can't figure out how to delete them.

Instead of complaining about the links, did you even bother to try to remove them? It took all of 5 seconds for me to remove them. Edit is your friend when it pretains to bookmarks. The "X" will only close down the page.

The edit button doesn't work; it launches Opera which then goes to a black screen and locks up.

Complaining about them is perfectly valid, regardless of how long it takes to remove. If he wants to include them, fine, but he NEEDS to warn people in the OP. If you didn't notice and open it up in front of your boss for the first time, you lose your job (unless you still work at McDonalds or something...).

does any1 know how to activate the exclusive button list, so that I can have the programs close instead of stayn open and having to close through showcase...i am running the nov 3rd beta build...help please really getting annoyning
