You can uninstall the new task bar from a cab (disable x2 task manager) here:

then reinstall the old task bar also from that link (htc task manager)

So it seems with both 28008 and 28011 I have the same issue where after a fresh rom load and hard reset I am unable to open emails from people in my contact list.

So the only thing I did was load the rom and manually input the activsync server settings (a real exchange server)

Anyone else use exchange and try these builds? Can you verify if yours is working or no?

28008 - Very nice and stable!

I found I had to install the Verizon keyboard fix "Verizon Keyboard Fix.cab" for the comma and Microsoft voice command "MSVC 1.6.21040.CAB"

Otherwise it is very smooth

anyone know if in the manilla 2.5 builds if HTC Messaging MMS is working yet? I would love to play with it more but the messaging app even when you use the disable htc messaging and the sprint mms fix for m2.5 it is still quirky.

Several people have been claiming that it works fine on EnergyROM. You don't have to disable HTC messaging. All you have to do is

1) Disable SenseUI 2) Install the fix and 3) Enable SenseUI

I can confirm that this works... But it DOESNT fix the issue with the HTC messaging app all around sucking bolas.

Its so slow to load... and slow to show new messages. I wont touch a 2.5 Rom again til that is perfected, as I Text like a madman.

So I came back to this rom to try out 28011. The old 28008 was having problems with closing programs due to low memory. I'm playing music and surfing just fine with this newest build. Might be the best rom yet.

anybody having a problem with 28011 and opera 9.7 with it not showing IE favorites? I've tried resetting but the IE favorites aren't showing.
