Re: [ROM] [11/28/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R5 (21882) [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]
Ok, so I've skimmed through a ton of these pages, its tough to go through almost 4,000 posts to see if something was answered, so forgive me if it was already.
I use my TP2 for music each time I get in the car and I use the 3.5mm jack as line-in to the stereo. I thought I read somewhere that some people had issues with the ringers not working. They seem to work for a while and then at some point through the day no more ringing when someone calls. What I noticed was that when I lose my ringer, a weird thing happens when I play music. When plugged in, the sound comes out the 3.5mm jack AND the speakerphone. I dont know if these were discussed, but I'm trying to find out how to remedy this. Also, When viewing photos in the Album viewer, it seem as the gsensor is responding in the Photos tab in the background, so it lock up and kinda goes nuts when trying to view pics that are both landscape and portrait. Hope these are looked into for R6! |

Nobody has talked about the youtube sound issue for a while... has there been a fix I'm not aware of?
The HTC youtube software is by far the most superior of any other application in terms of quality... I use Kinoma Play for now, but it doesn't compare to HTC's youtube quality. Does anyone have a cab for the original TP2 youtube? Maybe reinstalling that would fix the sound problem. Juicy - I'd rather R6 take a long time to come out but address all the major issues discussed, like the facebook photo albums not working and removing the problematic and crippling HTC messaging, youtube etc. |

not sure if this was mentioned but another thing bugs me is TP2 seems to "forget" the ringer setting. If i set it to vibrate then ring - after reboot it goes back to ring, all other settings seem to hold except for this one. and +1 on youtube no sound issue!

to answer my own question, I am currently running Maxmanilla 2.6 on the R5 ROM. So far it runs very smooth and I have no complaints....except that it loses some of the images in the programs list.

Just answered this question for someone and I thought you all might find it useful and fun.
I was surprised how easy it was to find: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...00#post1395000 Last edited by NinjaDuck; 12-07-2009 at 10:30 PM. |
