Help! I'm going on a flight loaded with movies and songs this weekend!
The thing is that when I plug headphones in, the external speaker AND headphones play at the same time!
I'm on R10.
This happens with both the 3.5mm HTC headphones and some KOSS 3.5mm headphones as well. I need this behavior to end pronto!

Oh, and the device does not seem to recognize that headphones have been plugged in. Audio comes through fine, and audio booster recognizes that a headset is plugged in, but I don't see the headphones icon show up when I plug them in.

How about simply rebooting the phone, then without doing anything else go straight to YouTube and see if it works Ok.

It does on my TP2. But, after some point that I haven't identified yet, YouTube audio stops working, and my ring tones stop working. A simple reboot fixes it.

I'm guessing there's some other app that conflicts. Not sure what though.

Just a bit of news. I had tried R10 for a few days last week or so, and for me it was not going well. I moved on to another rom. Well, after being bored with that other one, I thought I would retry R10. I am glad I did. It's been about four days now and I have had zero problems with R10. No random crashing, YouTube sound works, etc. Props to Juicy!

The only bug I have, which I have always had on Juicy's roms is that I cant get the facebook albums to display from the contacts. Just black boxes with an x through them.

you need sumthing like dotfred registry editor*free* (w/ this all you need to do is tap reg file and it will import) or if you have resco plus the reg. add-in*paid* do the same (tap reg. file and it will import) also total commander*free* does this i believe but not sure how as i dont use it. im sure there are others but that should get you started.

soft reset for changes to take effect.

also note im not 100 that this will work for juicy rom, its just this reg. file worked for me on another rom so its worth a shot, let me know how it turns out and maybe if it works juicy can put this as a possible fix in the next release??

R8 is on the one, almost rock solid. The almost means playing around with the MMS setting might be a little much for a newbie

I noob would be me, if you can direct me to instructions on getting MMS working on my Sprint Carrier that would be great. I looked in this thread and only found settings for Verizon. Thanks in advance.

Running version R10 on Verizon. Very happy with it with R6 being next best.

Only prob is YouTube volume sometimes. I will shut down TF 2.5 & revert to WinMO & get you tube to work if I need it immediately.

Other than that stable ---I don't care about MMS so never tried that

First, thanks for all your work and for sharing with us I really like your rom. I´m new in this. Only one question. When you turn off the screen also turns off the wifi (normal) but in yours rom's only becomes active when you open the Opera or any application that uses the wifi (I love that function). The question is, This is something program in a .cab or some Registry editing?. I would like to put it on the HTC of my wife. Again thank you very much for your work.

no sorry I don't believe he supports that phone.
1. you need to obtain the unlock for it first
2. look over at XDA or in the GSM section to see if there is a ROM or kitchen for that phone.

I have the R10 and i cant send SMS messages. Like the box to type up the message does not appear. I have sprint also

text ur phone from another or text urself if u can, thats a fix for the swap,
but first do a hard reset and start over

no goto into setting and do a clearStorage. and it depends on the amount of apps (cabs) you have to install; do it one by one after you install your contacts and DO NOT BACK UP ANY TEXTS FROM THE PAST. Watch how the phone performs so you will know what plays nice with what, I have no idea on what u install on ur phone so that is the best thing to do so you will have a good starting point, and the next time you can use the UC.

R8 was one; of the most of the stable ones, but it was all LEO, so the MMS was not quit there but its almost perfect.

Yes, for example, when turning on wifi since comm manager using your ppc normally with Opera or another application and turn off screen whithout turn off wifi, the wifi stays in standby.... So when you turn on the screen, the wifi starts inmediatly trying to connect with some network; but in Juicy rom's when you turn on the screen the wifi doesn't start, looks like it stays in standby yet and becomes active when you open Opera or any application that uses the wifi (I love that function).

The question is, Is this some .cab program or any register edition?

you have to know the edit in the registry to alter and if some one here wants to cab it up then fine but other than that you will need to know what to change in the registry...

We all keep doing the same thing over and over. Juicy will eventully surface, and when does will be with either some info on next Rom or the next Rom itself. so i just keep checking every other day till then. Patience grass hopper. :)
