Re: [ROM] Juicy Rhodium_W R1 [SENSE UI][XDA_UC]

I have an Idea that I am not sure weather it has been mentioned. I am really loving having Sense 2.5 and lack of Landscape is able to be dealt with to be able to use, however is there a way to implement something like the original TF3D for when we are in landscape instead of the weird stuff that happens when Sense 2.5 is in landscape? I have been wondering that and don't have the ability to do it for myself.

Does this ROM have the quick links on the home tab?

Should I stay with 2.5 or go back to 2.1??? I really love the shortcuts on the home screen, the new calendar and the email views...

But coming from the mogul days, the high RAM usage is killing me and I don't like it so high..and after installing the disable HTC message, the phone takes several soft resets to turn on normally...

Since I'm being indecisive myself, I ask that you guys make the call for me haha, what should I do?

by weird stuff I mean where it either goes all black or cuts off the bottom of the screen and the whole right side is black. I was just wondering if anyone agreed that an original TF3D would be worth on the device or if it was possible.

Re: [ROM] Juicy Rhodium_W R1 [SENSE UI][XDA_UC]

I flashed MightyROM, Juicy, EnergyRom "Leo" (in that order) and went right back to Juicy. Totally awesome man. Yours was the only Rom that found my correct location on the weather tab, not to mention everything else is just perfect. Sure the 2.5 Manila is a little slow, but the eye candy is worth it, and I have faith you guys can get it running smoother in time. With the new updated tabs and Twitter, I now can never go back to Manila 2.1...I'm ruined.

Keep it up Juicy you've always made ROMs that I keep for weeks, not just a day or two like all the other ROMs.

Were you seeing the half black and other things in landscape? There are still some bugs with landscape mode....FYI

it shouldnt take multiple soft resets for it to boot normally.

ive got the disable htc cab on and it boots just like it did before no issues at all.

personally im liking 2.5.

Re: [ROM] Juicy Rhodium_W R1 [SENSE UI][XDA_UC]

Juicy file download still timing out.

Also, bug report: the first couple times I went to send an SMS they failed because they were sent with only a 9 digit number, i.e. missing the "1" before the rest of the number. I typed in my friends number manually, and it sent properly as well as threaded the message with the others. I couldn't replicate this bug after that, but I'm going to soft reset and try again...

Yes that is part of 2.5, which this rom uses. It has more than that but on the home screen is the 3 icons, then scroll up to show more. I would love to see 4 smaller icons, and of course 4 column on the rest. Think there is a fix for that might look at it sometime. Just hate straying away from the good work Juicy does!

It'd pretty much do the patch every time I soft reset and it'd take ages for it start and sometimes it'd just hang and not do anything at all

Re: [ROM] Juicy Rhodium_W R1 [SENSE UI][XDA_UC]

Default Pagefile size in R1 is 15MB. I'm up'ing it to 32MB to see if I can get some increased TF3D performance out of it. Maybe 15MB isn't enough for the 2.5 beast.

odd, the only small issue i have is the 1st time i go to the SMS tab after a soft reset it takes about 5 seconds to display the message.

I've done hard resets and reflashed, etc, it's still like that..very weird..I thought a hard reset would fix the issue, and it didn't

Okay...reflashed with a 32MB page pool and it seems MUCH faster. But it could be the "butt-dyno". It seems much more responsive...moves through graphics much faster.

Someone else give it a try. Use the Pagepool Changer app and set the NBH to 32MB and reflash.

I hate thats stuff.

The rom runs great. I have CleanRam running ever 6 hrs to free ram so i never i have to softrest.

Juicy I can't seem to install the nuerom battery tool, for fast charge. Is that already included in this cab?

Well, it's taking Juicy a while to get back to us now. I wonder if he's just finishing R2 right now and pushing it out to solve a lot of the issues.

No doubt he is working on some things to get R2 out, but think he wants the carrier cab stuff implemented and wanted to test his latest changes on that.

try installing the tp2 battery driver then install buepower. then soft reset. you will see the nuetools folder that has the app in it. you can toggle fast charge, 1%, etc.

Fresh HR. Shows SPRINT, and the Update Icons function now, But doing an Update PRL updates, but when it resets the radio, it doesn't come back on its own, I have to soft-reset. Keyboard seems to function great! Looks good other than the radio not coming back on its own. Thank you!

Edit: Don't HAVE to soft-reset, if you go into connection manager and go into flight mode and come back out, that turns radio back on as well. But normally on a PRL update it brings the radio back on its own. But point being, it works, and that is a minor thing, I don't have issue with either soft-resetting or bouncing the radio. But I know you, you probably want it perfect.

Yup, same results here. All working great except that need to flick the radio on/off manually as stated above. Keyboard is great.
