+1 and I really liked this rom too. Mighty Mike here I come (or maybe Energy...or SSK..)

This has never been an issue on any other rom. A quick google search yields some results suggesting this may be an issue with 2.5. Anyone else successfully using push w/ exchange? No push email for work = no go on a 2.5 ROM for me so back to 2.1 :(

Make sure to change your off peak sync times to "as items arrive", check your peak times also.

yup. after doing the reg edit to enable the wm sms and setting up arcsoft it worked great.

Nah, it ramdomly dies and doesn't come back until you either power cycle or sometimes toggle the data connection in the connections tab, which, by the way, has been broken since at least R3...maybe since R1.

I believe the phone gets confused on whether it has a data connection available to use ActiveSync and just stops attempting to connect to the server.

Is this possible to install it afterwards with R6? I understand why it was removed (so MMS worked out of the box) but I don't like using mms, and now like a lot of people can't click the text message in sense to open up the message.

Thanks for all of your hard work!

Almost as confusing as the actual Youtube sound issue... lol.

I understand perfectly. He saying there is no youtube sound issue in the R6 Rom. But it is a mysterious fix. he did every thing exactly the same way as he would do on the older builds, but now no problem.

youtube sound working in R5 for me. always did when I tried. At least it works for more people on R6. One less thing for people to bitch about :)

Kash gets it.

In other words the Juicy rom is the only 2.5 rom I use, but R6 is the only version of the rom where youtube sound works (for me)

I would also like HTC messaging back for my phone, I rarely use sms and NEVER mms, so the problems before weren't problems for me.

I don't mind reinstalling it after the fact, I just don't know how.

I think it's just grammar..
"It is only is this rom (only manila 2.4 rom I use) where that sound didn't work"
probably should read instead "this is the only rom where that sound did work..."

Unless he meant something else... confusing.

Yes, how do we reinstall it. or can we just have the R6 version with this feature included. Also that 3g symbol is not for me. Ev was doing perfectly fine, fits my sprint persona...ha

No Juicy has said it could be added back in with a cab.

It's just that none of US know how to make that cab.

i rather have a fresh install of it cooked in. Who know how many other problems might occur after a cab is installed to put it back?

its ALMOST the perfect rom. This is soo frustrating. Juicy, just cook it back in and we will forget all about it! No reason to release an R7...

I think a neat way of doing it would be install lock device 1.6 then put an icon as one of your program shortcuts on the home screen. That way you wouldn't have to remove the menu or phone buttons

Guess what guys... I have HTC messaging working in my Juicy ROM... But I had to go back to R5 to get it. Disabling MMS broke so much stuff, made me feel like I was running EnergyROM. Hope the people that REALLY needed MMS are happy.

HTC messaging client 2.5 was slow and laggy....why was it needed so much?

Loving this rom..two things I search for but could not find an answer to..
1. I changed the wallpaper now the full screen weather animation dies not work ..how to I fix this?
2. the 3 box under calendar where you can add programs..is there a way to remove them from the home screen or is it cooked in the rom?
thanks..
---------
edit..
I believe that the 3 boxes are quick links..can they be removed from the home screen..
and still would like to know how to change the wallpaper and keep the animated weather..
----
now doesn't that read much better?

True. but its not slow and laggy in every rom. Like Ngrz's recent rom the htc messaging client was very responsive and fast. I guess its the way its compressed and cooked in juicy's R's...But as we all know, with time anything is fixable.:headbang:

Because it isnt ugly and it worked perfect for me. Now having stock WM Messaging... it doesnt work when you click the preview of your message in Sense. And its just as slow.

no way after 50 25 texts it was already lagging and slow...it took longer to send a text everytime....if u dont like it move to another rom or just deal with it....Juicy took in alot of peoples thoughts and put it together in r6...its what majority wanted....

Relax pal, there are just as many ppl that want that feature. And like the other post said, extra steps just to send a message isn't really a fix.
