Now that the MightyROM development might be coming to an end, I have been looking for another ROM. All the other ROM's do not seem to be nearly as stable or fast as MightyROM, at least on my phone. I keep flashing one I think will be good, but I always end up flashing back to MR's 6/20 version. This reminds me of the NFSFan series ROM for the HTC Vogue. When that series of ROM stopped the phone became stagnant until Andriod development revived it. Unfortunately Andriod development for the TP2 isn't quite there yet.

Seriously, what are we going to do when MR for the TP2 stops? My ROM making skills are very rusty, plus I couldn't take the criticism. I sure hope MM leaves us with some tips, instructions, and some files!

Less than a year to go for me to upgrade. As tempting as some of the Droids are that are coming out now, by the time I'm eligible for FE2 with VZW, the WP7 devices should be beyond first batch devices and looking very good also. Will have to see. I like the Android OS and the challenge it's bringing to the smartphone world. What I don't like is it doesn't sync with Outlook for PIM management.
So we'll see how WP7 plays out and matures. For now, I'm happy with MM ROM 62010 and SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5, which provides less lag on application launches as it takes up way less memory than Sense UI. Plus I like that I can have pages devoted to PIM, weather, and main apps.
Can't wait to see how WP7 and SPB Mobile Shell 5.0 will play together. I believe MS5 will have animated weather, which is the only thing I miss running MS3.5.5 vs. Sense UI.

Guys,

I have installed the mighty rom and getting a small problem. When my screen goes blank after a few minutes, it does not come back when i hit the power button. The phone is working because when someone calls me the screen becomes alive after 2-3 rings but not immediately. PLEASE HELP.

I have Sprint TP2 6.5.

im sorry if this has been mentioned before but the terms dont work with the search funtion. has anyone gotten text message could not be sent errors? if so does anyone know how to fix this? its very annoying.

This happens to me occasionally when I'm in a low-signal area, or when there's a temporary 1x network outage. It normally goes away within 5 minutes if it is due to the network.

What is the advantage of Mr.X rom over MR? I've downloaded Mr.X ROM but I'm not sure yet whether I have to upgrade to Mr.X ROM from MR. TIA

I don't even understand the last part of your post. Have you tried them both?

I don't think this is the best thread to ask "what's the difference in these two roms". They are both great roms, just try them both and decide on your own.

this seems to happen many times per day and seems to happen quite randomly. i did a hard reset but it still happens. it also doesnt coincide with my text message sending.

If you are referring to the comment from sammich about Mr.X, I do beleive that Mike and Mr.X collaborate quite a bit on their ROM's.
