Is there any way to change the Home screen's Left soft key from Phone to Notification when there is a pending notification or just have a Notification button that takes me to the notification screen?

Also is there a way to add Snooze Menu that allows you to pick 5 - 10 - 15 min snooze intervals into the Alarm program? I really miss the snooze menu.

Thanks - that registry hack did the trick. The ol ugly menu is back but I don't care -- I need hot snooze action.

I would not recommend installing a cabbed theme that changes the slider icons, and then installing another cab overtop of that to change them again, this is the way a lot of users cause issue's to there phones.

Installing a cab over a cab is not the right way to to accomplish this if you're looking for 2 different themes., Zipping in the files to overwrite the existing is a much better and cleaner way to do this. I will look into creating the entire slider icon set whether skinned or not to have a full slider theme.!

Update: not what I am talking about...I already had that box unchecked and still when I slide down on the home page the music player still come up. Its not a big deal but it would be nice to not have that on the home screen at all since i never use it. Thanks though!

On another note...so i was over at xda and found this sms filter app. Basiclly it makes a secure in box and allows you to designate which contact you want filtered or specific words in a text that you want filtered. I am trying it out now...seems pretty sweet. The dev is active over on his thread and will answer any question....

Hi. There are two aspects to your issue. Same thing was happening to me. There are the 4 levels, and what can appear on each of those levels. The levels are: 0-extra space, 1-main home, 2-quck links grid, 3-extra space. If you go into the menu and under "edit home layout" you should see 4 levels. You first have to choose the level you want to edit. If you uncheck the music box on one level, but it is enabled on another, it will still appear on that level. The other thing to realize is that in the editor under misc settings, there is a section called "home swipe levels". In that section, you can enable or disable level editing as just described, or more importantly, you can choose how many levels appear. If, like me for example, you only want the quick links and main screen to appear, you would choose lowest level 1 and highest level 2. Hope this helps!
