After a reboot, the Manilla/Sense UI does not startup. I need to go to start->today and uncheck the sense, apply it and reapply again. Is there a way to fix that?

I've got a strange issue. After connecting with active sync my proxy conf changes. With this rom I can not reach the proxy config to change it back. Any ideas? I'm using vodafone as provider. Using this rom the proxy config does not show in the connection tabs.

why is it that I can't shut my phone down/reboot it? I hold the button like I normally do, but all it does is go to sleep. What gives?

Anyone here using a video driver for MR? I used "At0m Ang 3D Enhanced Driver" on stock 6.1 sprint rom, wouldn't wanna bust my setup in case it's not meant for this before I go and try it.

I just went through 20+ pages, so this could be quite long. Also, I think all of my issues are now solved. Some of them are from old registry changes I was making and I think I got rid of those problems. My text message issue turned out to be the activation error others were experiencing on VZW. It was working at home cause I have the network extender which bypasses the authentication that VZW uses. Apparently the new radio that came out changed the authentication key that is used and the system cache(s) the old key from the previous radio and this is what is causing peoples issues. Hopefully the rumored 2.5 update with a new radio doesn't cause the same problems.

Are either of you installing mods or regedits for manila/sense from the old rom(s)? I had tons of issues the past few days from using older mods that were working fine on previous ROMs, but for some reason, something broke this one. Went through everything that I was changing and took out the obsolete stuff and also set several things manually and will re-export reg entries to update stuff as I think something I was changing/adding for a manila registry entry was causing all of my issues which were similar to what each of you describe.

Tried it out and both slashes work fine for me, not sure what the problem is that is causing your issue.

The cabs that I created for ArcSoft have send/receive limits that are at the max that you would likely be able to send through the carriers, if not over the max limit. Not sure why you'd want anything larger than what it's set to, which is 5MB by default.

Not sure what was wrong with the cab in the first post, but I haven't had any issues with my VZW arcsoft cab. I can't make promises for the other carriers as I'm not on their networks, but for the most part, others seem to like them as well.

Text size seems fine for me in PIE, not sure what the issue is. It could be the page you're viewing isn't detecting the browser properly as I had that before.

My RAM was high, I started streaming slacker, then bang. Phone was off...

And no, I didn't break it with a cab etc. I know what I am doing...

I could see it happening, but as others posted, I usually get an "out of memory" popup.

There should be a D3D driver built in, so you don't have to install your own or any of them that are floating around.

Also, I have all of my ArcSoft (and other) cabs posted on my Google Pages site for people to download and they are kept up to date as well, so you can't download an old version. It also says when the files were last updated, so you should be able to tell if what you have is older/out of date or not. See here
