Very simple solution for future reference. When you first turn your computer on (at the BIOS loading screen), start pressing F5 until you get a list of options to boot into Windows. Select Safe Mode with Networking and say Yes to any prompts that ask if you are sure you want to go into Safe Mode (and say No if there are any prompts to use System Restore). Once in Safe Mode, run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, check for Updates, then let it scan and clean up your system.

Back to MM ROM 021010 w/SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.3 overlay for now. Too many hardware button conflicts with beta ROM. Waiting for the new ROMs to drop!

Not for me.. I've had mine set to GDI for quite some time, and all animations appear fine.

... these questions remind me though that I need to go see if i've got the latest S2U2 prior to this pending ROM update.

Huh I have used both the Official and Full Force beta with no issues with the hardware buttons...

Also Mike I have noticed that when I am in landscape mode and I click a pic from my Pictures and Videos Tab the pic doesn't go full screen it shows up on half the screen for some reason...of course when I rotated the screen to portrait it corrected but I was just wondering about it...

Yeah that isnt a glitch with the ROM. Its a glitch with 6.5 and its compatibility with facebook. If you flash any other ROM with facebook compatibility you will see the same issue you stated. I believe to fix it you have to set your photo album to not close when pressing X. Then the first picture will show half of the picture and half the Touch Flow interface...and then adjust itself. After that it should work like its suppose to. Mind you a soft reset will duplicate this effect. After the first picture adjusts itself you should be fine. So mind you its not a glitch that can be fully fixed if you want facebook compatibility.

Thanks man...guess I never tried looking at photos that way before so I wasn't sure if it was common or not...thanks again youngp and just stick in there the new ROMs are worth the wait...

Actually, its F8 at boot up, not F5, to get into safe mode.

Yeah I have that problem as well. I have had my airrave for almost 2 years now. In my last place it did that almost all the time. But when I moved to my new place last Oct. I havent noticed it until recently.
What I think is weird is that the airrave run off of GPS itself and off your internet connection. I would think that between those 2 things it would have not effect on how the phone pics up weather.
I did find a way to get my weahter to update in my house w/ the airrave on. What I do is to turn on my wifi and click update usually twice and then is is fine.

The only problems with FF that I have noticed were graphical problems in Opera and Slacker Radio. Opera has the text overlap and Slacker Radio it seems like the bottom text gets shifted up. Both are probably program problems and not rom problems. I went back to the 3/23/10 official due to a corrupted download of the OF beta. I'll just have to sit back and wait for SE.

If I may add to this when you boot into safe mode with networking support you need to open and run a program called rkill http://www.technibble.com/rkill-repa...the-week/after the program has finished. Your explorer will automatically restart and you will be looking at your desktop open up malware bytes and then click on update it should go through and do the update if it does not do then update and it says malwarebytes cannot connect to update site. You need to open up the program files folder open up the malware bytes folder you will see a program in there that says MBAM.exe rightclick mbam.exe and click rename name it something totally different like shs123.exe after that click ok double click shs123.exe program will open up then click update after it has downloaded the updates run a full scan. Delete everything it finds it will ask you to restart the computer say yes. When the computer gets back to normal mode go to start, my computer, c drive, windows, system 32, drives, etc, open up your host file an open file window will come up choose to open with notepad normal host file should only have 127.0.0.1 localhost if your on xp if your on vista

After that is done go back to program files under malwarebytes folder double click shs123.exe go to quarentine and delete everything in quarentine. After that click scanner run another full scan should take about 30 minutes to a few hours depending on how big your harddrive is and thats it virus free computer. That way if you fix yourself your IT department won't put restrictions against your account depending on the company you work for several of the companies I do consultanting for makes me put restrictions against the account on a domain level that prevents a lot of things that you used to be able to do. Hope this helps.

Yeah, it wasn't Mike's FF ROM that caused the issues. Here's what I'm struggling with . . . I don't like the "X" won't close issue with WM6.5.3 nor do I like the limited quick links in Sense 2.5. So I installed MMTaskManager for a work-around to the first issue and Cookies Home Tab for the other. That's when I started having hardware button issues. But I had also installed and uninstalled SPB Mobile Shell.
So I decided to quickly flash back to the 021010 ROM because I had a good SPB Backup for it, rather than spending all the time to start over with the beta. I'll wait for the three new releases, might choose a different one than FF, and give Cookies Home Tab another try and see if I'm hardware button error free. If not, I really do like the 021010 ROM w/SPB Mobile Shell setup, which works great without any issues. Makes it hard to move to something new at the cost of dealing with bugs! ;)

PS - I also like the older version of Opera better than the one in FF

is there a way to disable the start menu in the top left corner on FF? using the MMTask Manager, and it's interfering with that. thanks!

Back to OF beta. Like FF alot, but wanted to try the flagship for a change of pace. Like the stability and speed of OF.

Regarding alternate taskmanagers for FF, I would recommend for people to try try arkswitch 1.4. Best thing is you can define the activation field on the tasksbar so it wont interfere with Mike start menu mode in the upper left. Plus you can deactivate the task manager in the upper right corner (start>settings>system>taskmanager>button>uncheck enable quick menu on Today screen. Its works great for me.

Hey y'all! I see that this thread is really gone crazy! Between, looking at the menu for breakfast & lunch, pissing off Mike and checking out the HOT chick (& yes she is hot!) and no, I can't say she's my wife. My head is spinning. But my issue is this: since Sunday I have been running the OF beta and things were going great. Then this morning, I have a phantom text and when I send one, my recipient will receive it twice? I have not installed anything crazy or new since Monday and today is Friday?

No I don't. Its weird because I can turn the volume up, and the phone can ring 1 second later and the volume will be right back down.

Still anxious for this new ROM... Mighty is definitely talented when it comes to putting together a stable build of WM. I've got to give thanks where thanks is due because if it wasnt for these ROMs I would be in Android world right now. =D>

I'm currently running the last build of Impact. On my lock screen (stock WM 6.5) the appointment section is no longer going away. The icon is there and the space is allocated on the bottom but there is no text and so on.
Anyone got any ideas for a fix... I couldn't find the registry settings for this one at all to reset it via registry.

anyways, I've temporary back to my normal life with FF ROM with me by my side, as usual, bugs are same ans already been stated here, so, am just waiting for the OFFICIAL RELEASE, hope it will be soon. : )
