I'm experiencing major lag w/ the latest cookie mod and this ROM. All I've done is hard reset w/ the buttons and clear storage. After that, I run the carrier provisioning, soft reset then install the latest cookie mod and the CHT Editor for it.

I've configured it for two pages of 5x5 and have filled both pages. I have the animated weather enabled as well.

The phone lags and when I turn the screen off then on later, the clock is behind and then freezes and suddenly flips through very quickly until the time has caught up.

Also, sometimes my screen won't turn on after it has turned off.

Lovin' the new ROM...wanted to give some huge THANKS to Ziggy though for the start menu CAB...I don't know how y'all exist w/o an organized programs menu/list!

It has happened to me. I can also confirm that it has happened one many different roms by many different chefs. Clearing out text messages and a soft reset always has fixed it. Funny 1st time ever reading about this I've noticed it months ago but just thought it was some cab I installed.

EDIT: Was quoting a text message issue where you would type & send but after sending message it never showed up in the conversation and never received. But if you hit all messages and reply from there it worked fine & showed up.

Need to learn multi quote...

Mighty Mike, once again a solid ROM. I had issues with random hard resets at first, but I did the flash dance and now all is good.

+1 for the old 2.1 Manila Start Menu option, Im used to the older start menu but its not a big deal.

Maybe some of your BT files are corrupted. You should try a hard reset to see if it works. If not then maybe flash again.

whats the difference between ziggy's start menu arrange and the update version.
should i download the first one(1.2mb) then install the update as well?

Just testing stuff and GDI, rawbuffer and Directdraw do not work. It locks up my phone button and keyboard right when I hit play on s2p. And I mean as soon as I hit it.

The first link in his post is for the entire cab, but it originally had a couple minor errors (that are now fixed)

The update version is only for those who already installed the cab (while it still had the small errors) and just want the minor fixes without deleting and re-installing the entire cab again

I have 3 more question if possible:

1- I used the transparent clock and background cab, but how can I remove the background behind the calender. I recall there was a cab that removes the black box behind the calender which as well removes Calender and Alarm off unless there is an event, but cant recall where to find it

2-after using no curtain cab, i still have those annoying white lines top and bottom, any cab to remove them?
3-For the slider, there was a cab to make it Glass,or crystal. No more that annoying white slider

Can anyone hook me up with a background that does landscape and portrait of this and a splash screencab i would be very grateful good background and even better splash screnncananyone help me with this?
