I've tried this rom with mobile shell & removing the start menu. I get around 120mb free ram at startup. That's pretty good. the most I've gotten with this setup was using Vin's naked Neodium as a base, which gives me around 125mb at startup.

maybe im too late to post in this thread...buti would like thanks lead for this ROM....the best ROM ever...(also with other LEAD ROMS).

Im an avid winmo user and this ROM resurrected my new found usd30 old tp2to its glorry!!

I doubt that this post is being looked at very much... but I had a question.

Love this ROM... it's pretty much exactly what I want. However, I can't seem to add any contacts directly to my SIM... I have to save them as Outlook contacts first (which does work) and then copy to the SIM.

When I try to create and/or save a new contact to the SIM, I choose to save the contact as a "SIM contact" and am taken to a screen that asks for the "Name" and "Number" of the contact. However, this screen has no option to actually save the contact (the page only has the "OK" button in the top right corner and the "Menu" at the bottom right... the "Menu" only gives me the option to cancel). It does not save the contact by choosing any of the options ("OK" or "Menu").

If anyone has any idea why it is not allowing me to add a contact directly to the SIM, I would appreciate it. I'm running this ROM on a Verizon TP2 using an AT&T sim card... so I wouldn't be surprised if that has something to do with the problem.

This appears to have everything I want (almost) and excludes everything I dont.

I wanted, found, and loaded without any problems:
you tube cab
data controller cab
google maps
opera mini

The only thing missing is a simple slide to unlock
(meaning just a slide needed but no password).

Does any one have suggestions to one that will work.

I know of S2U2 (i think that is what is called), but that appears to be too bid & complicated.

I have one of the energy roms, and it has the unlock i am looking for.

And if you're looking for something simpler, this should suffice. (cab attached) It will lock the phone when the screen is turned off, but not lock it when in a call.
