if you dont like the keyboard put your own f*ucking one on . its your d*amn phone . i made this ROM to be completely user customizable . so please dont bash it because of a stupid keyboard issue . im sorry to use profanity but that was just rude of you . and i wasnt aware of the landscape start menu issue , im guessing its a reg edit .. ill work on it .and the task manager shortcut was only available in the stock 6.1 of sprints ROM . thank you for your input .

I hope not. I like it so far. Used a diff provisioning cab for sprint and it works well so far. The keyboard changer settings don't stick after reset tho. Also will you include a default ringtone in your future versions? I understand not haveing as many as stock but I missed a few phone calls b4 i realized there was no ringtone. Oh well. There also seems to be a slight pause b4 swype opens. Mayb 4 seconds. Not that big of a deal but can be somewhat annoying. I think this is related to swype having to fully load each time I open the on screen keyboard so I will keep testing and try to figuere it all out. This may seem weird but how mmuch more room could you save by stripping out titanium too? Anyway thanks for the hard work. take it easy sir.

Haha no I hope not. Haven't had time to test out the new build but when I went to download it, I noticed that it said userROM-a which has the same name as one of your old builds. Is the new link the right one? You just named the files the same? The links themselves are different, but the file downloads are about the same size, name, and description (besides capitalization and one says -a) as the 12-30-10 UserROM-a. Just wanted to make sure it was the right link.

Also could you list what apps your ROM includes on the first page? Does it have all the default HTC applications? Like album, youtube, mp3 trimmer etc..? I haven't flashed it in a while and I totally forgot, it'd be nice to know what I need to get ready before I switch ROM'S to try it so I can get setup as quick as possible.

Yes it should be the right file . i plan on making even a more stripped down one . like i personally dont mind the old comm manager , and i dont use wm6.5 lockscreen . i use pocketshield . and some other tweaks . thats why i put the -a i should prolly switch it to like -c since i have other builds .

And the HTC programs included are as follows :

And i think thats it . i can however cab up anything anybody wants . im just glad to see people still have an interest in my ROM ^^ and im gonna do some cleaning up . i think ill move the updated build to my other thread i reserved .

Which prov cab did you use ? ive been looking for others to test . the one i have works but it includes a stupid theme . i was thinking bout editing it myself .
And i dont think the default keyboard changer kept the settings after a soft reset , you have to do the reg edits or use ervius SIP selector .

And .. heh , the ringtone .. yeah i fell for that too :P sorry bout that , ill have to look into setting that up after it builds .

And i am in the process of stripping titanium , i dont think its possible :/ but you can disable it in the today settings . i think it saves like 1-2 mb of RAM .

yea somethings not right with this rom...at 1st flash its smooth as can be, but over time ..it just slows down way to much...and constant freezing where Im just taking out the battery just to re turn it on...idk whats wrong with it..maybe theres a program that conflicts with it...im using pocketshield so maybe that. and wm7 well..host 1.5 but yea Idk

Did you task29 before you flashed my ROM ???? It was running great for me until i had to reflash stock and RELOCK :( i cant try anything until friday when my new phone comes in . so sorry that happend ..

Always task29 lol once i learned what it did..i dont see any reason not to...and I just reflashed it ..fresh install ...after i did a pim back up for contacts.. no one showed up... but after 4 mins and i just looked ...theyre there now but still...theres some little bugs still in this one..shrugs....great rom though..i mean i love a bare rom..just that annoying bug somewhere stops this from being thi best...I mean today in my photo class, I was recording some steps on photo and when it got to about 4 minutes...it just stoped on its own and forze....so i restarted...and did it again...it lasted to 11 mins..without any troubles..so its just llittle bugs here and there that just gets like...uhhhhh RESTART smh :angry7:

Are you overclocked ? i noticed a lot of people say there overclocked to 748 mhz .. i never no matter which ROM was able to get that high .. when i was that high , i experienced the same thing you have . when i would do anything that required a lot of CPU it would freeze the phone . even just using the hardware keyboard in Palringo or Fim or even opera would cause a freeze .. i'll look into it . as i said i cant reflash until saturday . i hope to get my phone tomorrow . im really sorry this is happening . i dont think i excluded a package that would cause it to become more unstable . but ill bust out the kitchen and dig into it . i do know i removed the help files . and the first try it wouldnt even boot so i replaced the one .dll folder . peghelp.exe is not needed .. hmm .. ill look into it . thanks for the support jkraze ! i love when people tell me my problems thats when i can fix them .

I found the rom to unstable under any oc. Winmo 1.5 and oct 1.5 . Even b4 I oc it I noticed a little slowdown doing certain things. Like opening sms. By the way elsebb you asked what provisioning I ran and it seems thant I never did any. It automatically put me on sprint which is perfect. Right now it is a little buggy overall but I figuered it was me. I just don't have the time right now to fully test this rom. Sorry elsebb but I should be good to play with it sunday. Good luck finding the problems.

but nope I dont OC that high..thats dumb lol...but i havent even installed that program yet...but on the side note (when i do OC its usually @ 600-670 max).. ill still play around with it though..test it by installing each program one by one to see which conflicts and makes it does that...i really think its something about pocketshield or the Lock on it because when ever pocketshiled was installed (and i used a theme that shows all your open programs on the Left side of the screen so you can close it while the lock screen is still on) ...whenever I come out of standby (black screen only) it would Lag a bit so youd end up pressing on twice lol. but no progarms would be running at that time..so yea..ill play around and see what last program i use that makes it sluggish

By the facebook app you mean the official one made by microsoft correct? I dont really need it as a cab as I already have that one, but I cannot find a cab for the latest HTC album with the facebook integration built in. Thanks alot!

as far as the other builds go i dont recall honestly, its been awhile lol, but im sure something was wrong for me not to kept em flashed, I should start writing down which roms i really dont like...for exm...energy .. just to junky and one time i left it on full batter over night just to see the drain..by 6am it was down to 82% :angry7: noted to self not to use that any more lol

Well i was working on that , and i noticed there is a packaged called "Facebook Engine" which i think is the one that integrates with the Albums . As there is also a MS Facebook cab . which is the app itself .


By the way , you guys were right about the ROM being really buggy . i think its cause i reinstalled windows onto my Laptop and i copied a lot of things to my 2nd hard drive and all in all i think i copied my Kitchen too many times and things got screwy . happend before with other programs (.exe) i had . when i would install them to my comp it would give an error when trying to launch tht program .

So i just restarted from scratch . things seem to be running pretty good right now . im gonna run it a day before i upload .

I am having issues with changing the default keyboard. I want to use fingerboard and it goes to the tiny keyboard by default. If I change it the keyboard will stay until reboot then. Kinda annoying but everything else seems to work well. I use mine with mobile shell 3.5.5

You have to use ervius sip selector to make the sip changes stick AFTER a reboot . i dont even think using the default windows mobile sip changer keeps the changes after a reboot . or you can go into the registry and change it manually . ervius sip selector is the best way in my mind . i use cootek touchpal and it automatically does it when i install the app .

Yes PNG compressing is still experimental , so for my first builds , i excluded it because i dont want to create more variables for me if the ROM becomes unstable . and i apologize i havent released any more updates . i keep having hardware issues with my d*mn phone . i keep getting refurbs as a warrenty replacement and something always goes wrong . but in about two weeks i plan to release a new release . thank you everyone once again for your support and pointers ! :)

Only devices with 6.5.x are the HD mini (Photon, HVGA device), Oboe (Chinese, WVGA), and Huashan (Chiese, WVGA, Sense does not work with our processors). Mainly people take packages from Oboe since they are WVGA and use mui (0409) from the latest Leo ROMs. I think most of the 6.5.x leaks lately are just from emulator builds.

That explains a lot . I couldn't find any roms which are 6.5.x . Thanks mwalt !

i am having problems inputting passwords on some things. for example opera mini 4.1 when trying to synchronizing bookmarks lets me enter user name, but when i try to enter password, it leaves it blank. i cant log in. try reboot, still same problem

Thats not a ROM based issue . Thats opera Mini .. I dont use opera mini because of this and some other issues . try UC Web browser . thats the one im using now to post this and i love the program . quick (if not quicker) than mini and has a better text input method .

I seemed to have troubles making the cab .. i personally like that feature and am going to cook it into my next build . I know which packages are needed to make it work . with the cab i was trying to compile there was a bad display problem . But it will be in the next build . Also im making two again , a more stripped out ROM and a more built up ROM .

I've successfully got albums working with facebook upload and messages . Also , quick gps downloads flawlessly as well as everything else . Is there anything else im missing ? that would be considered "necessity" or "barebones" ? I still haven't solved the no ringtone issue yet , can't find the file that sets that up lol . But before I release the rom is there anything else someone would like added ? im going to release different builds of it with different things in it , ie , no wm6.5 lock screen etc ..

Not sure what the no ringtone issue but I definitely would love a slightly less barebone build but still really clean, and then an absolutely barebones. I am still definitely interested in new releases.

they are coming ! im actually running a very nice slimmed down 6.5.x build I did . I was in a car accident two weeks ago and my time spent on the computer has been mainly shoping for a new truck and catching up on school work , so not much ROM cooking happening , there are some bugs I wanna squash before uploading . Plus the lack of posts on my thread I felt as if people weren't too interested so I wasn't too worried about getting the rom uploaded . But once I get a new truck and things caught up in school ill definitly work on my final ROM . Thanks killer for still having an interest ! :) makes me feel as if someone still cares :)

Hey guys , just wanted to let you guys know ive updated my first thread with new builds ! ive tested ONE build and everything works flawlessly , the other builds should work , as i didnt change anything major . Also , i plan on adding more to it once i get more time and knowledge , i plan on making it even more slimmed down , and possibly some eye candy . but again im afraid to put in eye candy as its your phone , put the eye candy on it that YOU like .. i dont want to go puting some theme in that you dont like .
