GPS works fine in the ROM its just that quickGPS won't auto update so to get a signal quick you gotta run a manual quickGPS update and itll work fine for about 7 days and then you gotta do it again when you need GPS. Bing and google maps both work. I do a quickGPS update all the time on any ROM before I use GPS anyway so its not that big of a deal to me as it speeds up signal acquisition alot.

No problem everyone starts somewhere. You dont need to install quickGPS, it should already be in the start menu I believe(forgot exactly where each ROM is different). Just run the program and press the big download button at the bottom and it will download some GPS data and your GPS will acquire signals much faster. Anytime the signal takes a while to acquire just run quickGPS again and download and it should work fine.

Hmm thats weird doesnt happen for me. Try going into Start/Settings/Personal/Phone - CDMA Services Tab - Location Setings, press get settings, and make sure it says location on not 911 only.

Fixed the empty folders issue . No more empty folders in program files or start menu .

I have yet to fix the input menu .. that issue is making my head hurt -.- i cant seem to find what reg entry it is that makes it work . i noticed if you tap on the little arrow that is used to switch input methods like a million times really quickly it will bring up the menu .. weird .. i have found a way to switch the input , use attached cab to switch input (thank you ervius) for now i apologize for this .

I also want to apologize to those of you who like my ROM . I am sorry its taking so long to work on the locations setting issue as well as the input issue . I have been pretty stressed out lately and now my truck broke down and i think i may be in need of a new vehicle :'( . I havent had any time to work on my ROM . I promise you once i get time its the FIRST thing im going to do :) Thanks again so much for your great feedback and being so patient with me in fixing the problems !!

As much as I love the stripped down performance focus of this ROM there are a few things that are just silly. The default on screen keyboard is laughable. The start menu in landscape mode doesn't use the whole screen. The task manager shortcut in the top right of the home screen is missing. I'd be happy if these things were fixed or easily added.
