So since it doesn't happen on 23563 and some others and I knew it started when the phone locked, I've replaced the lockscreen files in 21686 witht the ones from 23563 and all seems well. That seems to have fixed the issue I'm going to throw up another 21686 here shortly with the Contact fix, hopefully, and the carrier name fix.

I'll put up a 23150 or 23152 later on today.

Anyone tried to close MMTaskManager vai Task Manager since the v3.0 release??
Task Manager gets frozen every time. Been trying out other options to close programs. None are really good though. AMeba SUCKS at working even 50% if the time. I was thinking about mapping the back key to close programs. I tried that and it seems to be the only way to have the close 100% of the time. My only reservation is that using the "X" button is just more natural and easy. It would take some getting use to using the back hardware button to exit out of something...

What timing, you know I never use MMT but I put back in 25xxx buil for temp, only setting up the basics. I did leave in MMT and Confriming you freezing issue.

What do you use to accomplish closing programs with the "X" button? Or do you close them all via a task manager?

Might not be the most efficient way, but I am used to using stock task manager via send key(hold)

Aight, so here's:

6.5.X Generic SharkieROM v3.21686 R1

A quick few notes about this one:

1) The classic blue theme is added back into this one. For the moment both it and my theme are both undeletable. I'm working on it.

2) Replaced the pimstore.dll from a different build and that's supposed to fix the Contacts syncing issue. Let me know if it does or not.

3) New default wallpaper.

4) Replaced lockscreen files to fix the carrier name showing in the top taskbar. Let me know if you run into any lockscreen related issues.

And of course, let me know how this one compares as far as battery life for those of you that were having less that great battery life on v3.0.

A 2315X something or other will be up a little bit later...

Edit: I just realized that MM Task Manager is not in System Tools and therefore is not my usual icon. You can move it there yourself it you'd like. If you rename it to "MM Task Manager" (add a space between each word) and place it in the System Tools folder it will skin itself with my MM Task Manager icon as well as place itself at the top of the list. The icon and the registry settings are already in the ROM. I was trying out several different MMTask cabs and other "X" to close solutions and forgot to edit this MM Task Manager cab before the last ROM build.

Oh, speaking about themes. I finally fixed the issue of my theme not setting right the 1st time. Now when you switch between themes, mine will set perfectly the 1st time. Not a huge deal, I know, but it's been one of those issues that's been hanging around my ROM since the beginning, so it's nice to have it gone finally!

wow i have some catching up to do...i been kinda at a brick wall.

on last flash b4 v3.0 i spent so much time on chts and layouts an such. i saved them all and now when im trying to restore them on v3.0 im having problems. "big poblem" lol (pino joke sorry) anyways not gonna congest sharkie thread but if you do use chts and saved layouts if you can give me a hand over http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/2028165-post25.html

then ill be able to get back on track w/ flashing and testing
