I can only speak for myself, but I think the folks that are using XDA_UC or similar as used to installing Opera 10 automatically if they use it imo...

I got used to installing Opera 10 Automatically using Sashimi, but lately I have been using Opera Mini 5 which most ROMs don't use, so I would say go with 9.7 like Darren posted since that is the norm it seems...


Ya, I never had issues with mem when I did my pagepool at 15, but I know on a 21xxx ROM, 15 is prolly a couple mb too much, but I don't install much - on Sharkie's ROM, I don't especially

What's up everyone! I'm at 201 downloads of the various ROMs! That's way more than I'd thought I'd ever get. Thanks to all for showing my ROM so much love.

My kitchen seems to have gotten a little corrupted and so I've had to kind of start over. I'm having a tough time getting everything up and running again. The ROMs seem to be unstable. I'm thinking that on my next day off I'm going to start from scratch in a new kitchen. Hopefully this will also allow me to find what it is that causing the dialer issue. Obviously, this means an update is not in the very near future as it means adding a package, cooking, adding a package, cooking, adding a package, cooking etc... I apologize to all for the delay, but I'm working as hard as I can.

Again, thanks for showing a noob chef so much love!

Many thanks kinds sir! There are problems with it, but I'm glad that none of them seem to bother you. In case you hadn't already, check the first post for the known problems. Add to that list tethering not holding indefinitely ( which I think I may have found a fix for...).

Tethering being with the Wifi Router? My phone disconnects my data connection all the time while I'm tethering, and the only way to restore it is to stop the router, and restart it. Sometimes it does it every 2 minutes... If you've found a fix for this, I will definitely flash and be donating!!!

my issue want wifi tethering, usb. try this wifi app. cause i had no issues on this rom with it.

Awesome ROM man!! Everything I was looking for. Except for the fact that I can't answer my phone. I've tried changing the dialer, use the windows dialer, through a reg edit but still no go. Also tried using Vins dialer but no change.

BTW I was using your Sprint Cookie ROM, but I'm definitely flashing the update when it becomes available.

Did you mean you're issue wasn't with wifi tethering, but it's with USB tethering? I didn't know that. I'll look into that then as well. Thanks darren.

I just discovered, well sorta, where my dialer issue is coming from. It's one of my regedits. Last night I downloaded and started working on a new kitchen. I only added a few packages that I thought might have to do with F'ing with the dialer, but everything worked fine, which was good, cuz I'd hate to give up a program or mod that I like.
This morning I'm continuing working on the new kitchen and I just added in all my personal regedits and BAM, dialer got stuck again! This is great because now I've got it narrowed down! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Now I just have to figure out which one it is. Sifting through 30 or so regedits is much easier than sifting through an entire kitchen!!!!

Thanks for the feedback Kliptik! Thank you darren.wlsn1 for posting the cab. I'll include this version in the next update instead of the one I was using.

I've almost got things back up and running. I'll be posting a beta ROM with the previous bugs fixed in the thread for you guys to test out in the next day or so. Assuming all is well with that, I'll build all 4 ROMs again and officially update soon after.

I was going to build a multi-carrier CHT ROM for the beta test. I figured that would be the one that the most people would be able to test out and more people like CHT than don't.

The dialer issue is solved. Well, mostly solved... I've narrowed down the issue to 1 of 5 regedits I cook in. Currently I'm not cooking any of those in and the dialer is fine. One of the 5 packages I'm not cooking is to do with battery life. That concerns me a bit. I want to run it for a day or so to see how battery life is without that edit.

,.OK, so my poll isn't working as it's been close to even the entire time and now it's at 18 votes for both options. So if you've not voted yet, and you'll be running my ROM sometimes and you care... VOTE! If it stays at a tie or only 1 or 2 votes in either direction, I'll leave it as I have it.

Screen Capture Programs:

I've got shake and save added in, which is cool and I like it. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't give you an option of where you'd like to save the pic. CapScreen Utililty does give you that option. Because I flash a new ROM several times a day usually and I don't always remember to take my screenshots off of my device, I like to have them saved to my storage card automatically so I don't lose them.

Point is which one would anyone like to see. Currently, they're both being cooked in, and while having them both is not a huge issue as far as memory or space, it just seems silly to have two screen shot apps. So I'd like to cut it down to one.

Any votes?

Oh, and I'm not doing SPB Screenshot. I just don't like it, sorry.

I've tested them and they work, but I'm not 100% sure whether it will work indefinitely or not. I need you guys that use it to test that area out for me. Based off of darren.wlsn1's and Kliptik's feedback, it should work. I've also added a few registry edits that are to do with wi-fi never being disabled.

-- I think the dialer issue is fixed. I've tried it over the last two days and it hasn't gotten stuck once. One of the things I've done is added cprog.exe to the CleanRAM exclusions list. CleanRAM seemed to be part of the problem. If I were you, I'd leave that exceptioned. I've also left out some battery life registry edits as I suspect they are to do with the dialer issue as well, so I'm curious if anyone notices a major decrease in battery life.

I believe that covers all the issues brought up thus far. Please give her a good run and let me know about the areas mentioned above. :D

OK, I am officially distracted from setting my phone up by the multitude of ringers you have included. Almost spit out my coffee with "She touched my peppy Steve". :)

Very nice so far. I did change the pp to 12 and got another ~12-15 mb ram upon boot. Facebook tab 1.6 - nice. Great job skinning the entire rom. Looks fantastic. Post back with more as I get everything set up.

the WMWifiRouter has been working great for the last several days. It seems that the main issue is that if the data connection is lost (for whatever reason) the HTC Wifi Router doesnt reconnect, while WMWifiRouter does reconnect.

I just realized that I left Advanced Config out of the new kitchen I started. I'll add that back in whenever I officially update. Any word on the dialer yet from anyone? I went with a simple dialer thinking that the user can skin it as they see fit, in case anyone was wondering. The actual dialer skin was not to do with the dialer slide to answer problem.

Edit: I didn't leave it out, I just didn't adjust the app.dat correctly for it. Will be fixed in the update.

Dialer seems to work OK in the limited calling I have tried. Turning over the phone does not put it into speaker mode although I have that marked. Not a big deal though. I don't know if that is a function the dialer software handles or not.

If you go into the phone settings and go to advanced where you can set vibrate on connect, add to contacts after call, etc. there is an option for turn on speaker when phone is flipped over. I have that checked.

Potential first bug. Can you try and replicate? If I go to the Twitter tab and select All Tweets or select an individual tweet, it will lock up sense and eventually restart sense. Might just be me so I thought I would see if you can dupe.

Rom is running great though. Like it a lot.

An easy fix is to revert to Twitter 2012. I just tried that it works fine. Near as I can tell there is not visual difference between Twitter 2016 and 2012. I may have discovered a fix for Twitter 2016 though, I'm cooking now to see if it works...

Still working on the speaker phone thing. Seems to me that it's a part of "HTC Straight Talk". I can't seem to find a download for that though... If I remember correctly, my Stock TP2 didn't have that function either. I assumed it was a feature that was just not available on Sprint phones. Clearly you've used it before. Who's ROMs have you tried that had this feature up and running?
