What a nice ROM! Just got a TP2 (my Diamond failed for the umpteenth time) and loaded it up. Thanks for keeping up with the development and support.

Congrats on the new phone! I'm sure you're loving it! I remember when I first got my TP2, it was love at first sight. Sooo much bigger than my TP and your Diamond. TP2 + SharkieROM = Can't go wrong! :) Enjoy the phone and my ROM. Thank you for trying me out! I'm honored to hear that you like it and I appreciate you stopping in to let me know.

+1

PPCGeeks devs still care about their work and more importantly the people that use it. Which is more than I can say for some other dev sites around here!

I was running Vin's Plutonium for a long time, but finally decided to try something different. Had a few issues and it appears that Vin stopped development of ROMs for TP2, at least the 6.5.x flavor.

Installed Sharkie's and like it a lot. Thanks to the developer ! Just one issue though - there's no autorotate in Sprint GPS. Any idea how to turn it on ?jh

Humm... I am not sure on that one since I am more familiar with the Verizon version. As a band-aid until Sharkie can respond, you can use the included keyboard controller to set one of the front buttons to rotate 270 degrees. I have my green button set to do so. This way you can rotate the screen manually without opening the keyboard. Just a thought!

Hye Amamba! I'm honored that you gave me a try. I've been wondering when/if you would. I know you're a pretty hardcore Vinn fan and also a fan of Titanium. I'm glad you like it! :)

As far as Sprint Navigation and auto-rotate... I just plugged up my TP2 and in a few minutes I'll turn it on and see what I can come up with. I'll post again when I have something for you.

Re: ★SharkieROM & Kitchen★Final Update★Version 5.1★Generic\Sprint★29020\21916★Sense20

Ok so here's the deal, to make Telenav auto rotate you must make these regedits:

Code:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor]
"AutoRotation"=dword:00000001

Then in this key:
Code:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName]
add this line:
Code:

"SprintNavigation"="\\Windows\\SprintNav.exe"
Now, the tricky part is the next and last edit. We need to add the telenav entry to this key:
Code:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList]
One must know the main class of the app that one wants to auto rotate. I don't know the Telenav main class and a google search for it didn't bring up any results. If you really want to get it done, I think you'll have to flash a ROM that has Telenav autorotating and look in that registry at the last string I mentioned and see what they have as the "main class" for telenav. Without setting that main class entry, it won't work. Sorry that I don't have an instant answer for you.

Edit: I found out the Telenav main class name:

Going above and beyond as usual Sharkie405!! Great effort!

Tink, your Verizon app is not TeleNav is it? If it is TeleNav as well, maybe your registry will have the "main class" name...
