Loving this rom so far. Flashed it on 2 phones a couple days ago, the 5.0 3/26/2011 version. Fast, robust, nice selection of apps. This is also our first 6.5 rom, so getting used to the differences.

One thing I can't figure is how to view MMS's. They send & receive out of the box, but show in the thread as "new message" in the bubble. Selecting the icon just brings up the text list of messages showing 1 unread from the recepient. Click that is back to the bubbled thread.

I flashed the generic 6.5 version as I didn't want the Sprint junk apps. Provisioning was a snap.

Any suggestion about the MMS's?

Inside Sense message, click the little "envelope with the photo" icon inside the sms bubble. That will take you to the same WM message, from there click the little photo icon and that will open up the picture. I just tried it so I know it works.

You have to click on the little photo icons specifically, not just the sms bubble.

Unless Sprint provisioning is messing with that process... Running provisioning and trying it again now...
Edit: K, so I just ran Sprint provisioning and the same process is still working.

Oh, and the last v5.1 ROM is uploading now. They should all be up in an hour or so! :D

Not last as in last ROM, just not another 5.1 beta. It's the final version of v5.1.

The photo icon is what I thought. But, I click this:

This happens on both handsets. But as there's obviously a file there, I haven't tried reprovisioning yet... that and it's both phones.

Is the v5.1 ROM you mentioned the final?

That bubble messaging mod should not be in the 6.5 ROMs. If I included it in the version you have, I am sorry. I should not have. It does not work right with 6.5, only 6.5.X. You can remove the Kimi-style WM messagin cab from remove programs and then you should be able to access normal WM messging which will then give you access to the pic.

Since most of us (including myself) cannot use the Twitter Tab anymore (as in you will be unable to log in no matter how many times you try), I've disabled it by default, but it's still in the ROM. It does not show up in Settings Tab\Personalize\Home screen tabs.

The very first time you want to enable the Twitter Tab you will have to go in the registry to:

HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila - "Manila://twitter.page.hidden" = dword "1".

Change the value data of "Manila://twitter.page.hidden" to "0" instead of 1. After changing the number, soft reset. Then the twitter tab will show and from that point on it will be accessible via the Settings Tab to enable or disable.

After flashing various ROMS to my phone for 2 years now and after sticking to NRG's for most of the last 9 months I decided to move on. It was just feeling way too buggy and I didn't want to have to continue tweaking it. I downloaded your generic 6.5.x ROM and love it. I'm actually sorry I didn't try this one months ago. This is exactly as this phone should be. I love the skinning too. Thanks for keeping this ROM current!
