Hey man, just wondering, tomorrow I'm leaving thhe country for a few weeks for some work and just wondering if, when i pop in another sim card, your rom has already been set up to provision or if I'll have to resolve that #777 issue when I'm over there. If so, do you know how to do this? I know I've gotta edit sprints old info back in but it's been a while since I've done anything like this

Provisioning is not set up by default. I'm not sure about the #777 issue, sorry. I've also never used a sim card before.

Hopefully someone else that reads this thread is familiar with the process, would be willing to chime in to help you out before your trip tomorrow.

So, to answer Kozmo's question about where memory stands on the new ROM versus 5.0, here are the specs fresh after boot up from v5.0 and the new v5.1 without having installed anything other than what comes in the ROMs. These numbers are based on Sprint ROMs. The Generic ROMs would have a little more free memory, I assume, because of not having the Sprint TV and Navi tabs.

V5.0

According to WM Memory:
-In Use: 101.08
-Free: 86.43

According to MMTaskManager:
-Avail. Memory: 44.77% (83M)

V5.1

According to WM Memory:
-In Use: 102.09
-Free: 85.46

According to MMTaskManager:
-Avail. Memory: 44.91% (84M)

So intially, I seem to have gotten things back on the v5.0 track as far as memory goes.

So, since most seem to like my original icons the best, I've decided to finally just make these into a cab for those that like them. I like them and they are a nice change from the norm once in a while. These icons are designed specifically for SharkieROM as in they are named the same as all of my default standard icons so this cab will replace all of those.

Remember after you install these cabs you will need to go to "Application Data\HTC\ProgLauncher and delete all the files in that directory. Hint: I had to select all and then delete twice before I got all of the files. Once you delete all the files, soft reset your phone. When the phone boots up it will repopulate that directory with new .bmg files in the likeness of the new icons. The .bmg files in that directory are the icons used in quicklinks, so they must be deleted and repopulated or your quicklink icons will not match.

The attached zip contains 3 cabs. One is the majority of the icons, one is a "Pro" icon version of the Action Links cab and the other is a "Pro" icon version of the Sense Tab Links cab. If you still have the action links or sense tab links installed just uninstall them and install the new ones in this zip.

I've been unable to find a solution to setting the long press of the End key to work to lock the phone without getting the endkey error message. I did just set the long pressing of the "Back" key to do that just fine with no problems. You have to use KeyboardConfig to set the back key for multiple actions, "click" being set to that key's default action and "long press" set to run the Lock Device program. I know what you exactly wanted was to use the end key, but the back key seems to be almost the same for me. I thought maybe you hadn't tried it yet and wanted to let you know. :)

Before, they would stay until you actually opened up an email. The taskbar notifications and the Sense notifications would work the same. I"m still on the fence as to how much this bothers me. On the one hand, it seems like it'd be nice to have the notifications disappear quicker, but on the other hand, I'm afraid that one might slip by without me noticing it. We'll see what, if anything, I can do about it...

So, as stated this is a BETA. It is being released in the thread for the express purpose of BETA TESTING. So any of you who'd like to help me out, I'd be more than grateful.

Twitter Tab - I can't use the tab because I didn't ever save the necessary info. from my registry. I need someone who did to let me know that it still works as it should.

To those on the beta who want to fix the RSSIcon.png showing the wrong image (the contact image in the top left of the tab), here is what you need to do.

Using Total Commander create a directory in \Windows called "Icons" (no quotes). Copy the RSSIcon.png from \Program Files\RSSUtil\Icons into your newly created \Windows\Icons directory. Soft reset the phone. That should fix the wrong image being used. I'm still not sure why this issue exist, but at least for now this will fix\cover up the issue.
