Update.. here's a weird turn. Just flashed back to 5-28 ROM to test. Did not task29 from 4-24 ROM. Plugged in TVOut cable and what do you know pop up showed up, plugged into TV and everything worked as should. WTF? only thing I did different from last flash was first thing went to settings/system/TV Out settings/ first thing then tapped and enabled pop up, then plugged in and worked. What a mystery. That's great to hear, but I'm a little confused...

You said you went into Settings\System\TV Out Settings and enabled pop up. What do you mean by enabled pop up? Tapping the TV Out Settings still does nothing without the cable being plugged in. You're saying that tapping on that brought up some sort of option without the cable being plugged in?

Sorry, the pop up the is the message that tells you that TVOut cord is required optional accessory

So it seems like you have to hit the tv out settings link first to get that pop up to show before you plug in the cable and then it works fine?

If so, that's good enough to roll with for me, even though I'd still like to fix the issue.

Final update: Task29/reflash 5.1 beta again today. Everything normal on my end.

To anyone who's been paying attention to the beta,

The beta bugs were:

-Voice Command missing = Fixed.

-RSS Icon showing wrong image = Fixed.

-Possible RSS Util debug conflict due to being cooked in ROM resulting in RSSUtildebug error message = Fixed.

-Managed Programs missing = Fixed.

-RSS Sense Tab Link missing = Fixed.

-Opera memory issues = Fixed.

-6.5 Dark Ninja Android sms and email notifications in taskbar different than 6.5.X = Fixed to match 6.5.X.

-Possible TV out issue = Hopefully not an issue

-In 6.5 ROMs, HTC Task Manager not skinned with the rest of the ireflect style icons = Fixed.

Did I miss anything?
