I have not really played with that one yet. I flashed it last night I think, but then went to bed and flashed another one this morning before work. I believe I've heard positive things about it.

One thing I did notice that was very exciting to me was that 29002 WM Contacts doesn't use the softkey bar buttons as big oversized buttons on the page. The only other build that I've used that was like this was 23563, and probably 23566 and 23569 as well. I don't know, I never used them. That's one of the reasons 23563 is my favorite. So big points in my book for 29002 because of that. I'll have to run with it for longer to see how it handles for real.

There's one thing I never really took the time to learn the basic differences of...I know the basic difference between 6.5 & 6.5.x (start soft key on top versus bottom, plus more finger friendly) but never the differences between them selves? I noted you (sharkie) said you didn't tell a real difference but what the jump in numbers mean...21xxx or 24.... Or 28....??? I heard mention of com 1 2 3 4whatever don't know the meaning of either just think there connected. I always never questioned the chef decision on wm build s.

If any 1 can help explain the basics, I might have to start making a spb back up of the official while I test the ce

I don't really understand it enough to explain it well. THIS is the famous Da_G breakdown of the branches of WM. HERE's another thread over at MUI that also has a lot of talk about WM Builds. To truly understand it, lots of reading is required. I don't think it's all really necessary unless you're just curious.

THIS thread also has a lot of talk about different builds.

I'll add this to the 1st post tomorrow sometime, but in the meantime for you guys...

If you want to change the wallpaper on the Long Press End Key Quicklist screen, you can replace bg_EndKey.png in \Windows with your own wallpaper. Just rename yours to bg_EndKey and place it in \Windows so that it overwrites mine. I'm unsure if it HAS to be a .png or not. If you try it with something different, let us know if it works or not.

Hey Sharkie I just DL'd one of the ROMs hosted on kliptikdev.com and it worked great. Let me know if you run into any more issues!

Re: Updated[11-29-10(CE)]★SharkieROM v2.0 R1★Generic\Sprint[21683\21916][Sense2018]

I have a quirky issue. I have dl 228244_Sprint_SharkieROM_CE_v2.0_R2 8244_Sprint_SharkieROM_CE_v2.0_R2 and almost everything is running great. One issue I am having that is annoying but not a major issue is that in the sense contacts tab if I dial a contact from there and then later go back the contact is gone. If I am in a rush to call someone this is rather annoying. Does anyone else have this problem of vanishing contacts off the sense tab? Any fixes.
I am also having a problem with the Sprint navigation intermittently not getting a GPS fix even though I have downloaded quick GPS. This will eventually revert within 10 minutes but again sort of a nuisance when it occurs. Otherwise, awesome ROM. Thanks.

I'm currently on the 29002 ROM, not that I think the build no. makes a difference with your Sense Contacts problem, but I've never notice that issue. I tried it just now and everything is still working properly. Has this happened to you on other or my ROMs as well or just on this one?

I haven't used Sprint navigation in a while, but I will over the course of the next day or two to see what's up. I can say that all my other location/GPS needing apps are working properly.

I'll flash the 28244 ROM tonight and check these issues out on it as well. Glad you're enjoying the ROM otherwise and sorry about these issues.

Re: Updated[11-29-10(CE)]★SharkieROM v2.0 R1★Generic\Sprint[21683\21916][Sense2018]

The 21685 ROMs have 15 downloads. Can a few of you that downloaded it and flashed it comment on any issues you've had? Have you had any contact syncing issues? Many people over at XDA are saying that 21685 is no good. So far only one person said he hadn't had any issues with it.

I'm curious to know if you're having the same bad experience. I've only flashed it for an hour or so, so I wouldn't know just yet. 28244 is on my agenda for the next day or so and then 21685.

Today I was on 29002 all day and haven't had any issues yet. I was mistaken in my comment earlier about 29002 not using the softkey buttons and big buttons on the page, it does. It must have been another build I was on. It can get confusing flashing 5 or 6 builds in a day.
