just on 28244 for me so far,on 29002 right now and hasn't happened at all since i flashed last night and i have made at least 20 calls using contacts


which build of the two do you think is snappier?

I'm not sure yet. I only flashed 28244 late last night and didn't do much with the phone since. I've flashed 28244 again several times this morning working on the ROM, so I gotta let it run normally for a day or so.

I didn't have any issues with 29002 at all though. I thought it was as snappy as usual. I didn't notice a significant gain in speed or snappiness.

I'll post some thoughts on 28244 later tonight when I've had a chance to run it longer.


One thing I'm very pleased with in my ROMs is the fact that I haven't seen the SOD in like months!! No matter what build I was using.

+1 never seen a SOD on your roms not even in the betas before initial release :)

this isnt the most efficient start menu remover I have seen, but it does save about 10-15 mb of mem. completely removes the start button. you need to use the hard key to get to the menu. if you don't like it, just uninstall.

free mem without cab - 68.33
free mem with cab - 98.07

both reading are within 1 min of SR no programs running..no change in speed or functionality, just free mem

found this at XDA but don't remember where (think it belongs to OC man)

after 3 hours of using the start menu remover (push email, sms, multiple calls and syncs) free mem has settled down to 82 mb free....just FYI. Thats 13 more than what was left after a fresh SR without the remover---and about 25-30 more than what I had without the cabs, using the rom after a few hours.
