That's so weird. It has worked for me like it should since I've been using it. I don't have an answer for you on that one...

Oh, kb is keyboard! Sorry, duh moment there... uumm, so I'll check this out when I flash here in a bit as well. Off the bat I have to say that I've never had this problem when typing in landscape via WM Messaging or Kimi's messaging mod (what you're calling HTC Messaging. HTC Messaging is not cooked into the ROM).

Edit: My hardware keyboard and the default EZInput keyboard both work fine in Sense messaging in landscape mode.
Are you saying that this started since you put CHT v2.0 on? If so, as you're speculating that may have something to do with it. I've also noticed that certain fonts in KD-Font will throw off some system windows as you describe. I'll try downloading a cab when I flash here in a bit and see if I can recreate your issue...

Edit: I downloaded a cab via Opera and the screen was aligned just fine and I personally haven't noticed this except when I install certain fonts. Do you remember if you had changed the font at all?

I'm running your beta rom on a Sprint TP2. The Windows Live app seems to crash and burn when it tries to verify the username and password. I've tried redownloading the cab file, but the same thing happens.

I should note, that it's not a problem with all Live-related services -- My Phone seems to work just fine.

I have noticed this intermittently since I began using WM Live. It doesn't always happen and seems to not happen more than it does. To be honest, I don't know how to fix that at the moment. I've not really done any tweaking to that app except for start menu placement. I don't see why that would cause this issue. I will look into it though.

Thanks for trying out the ROM. Any other new issues that you've noticed? By beta you mean the 6.5 ROM?

Yeah, that's the one.

So far, the only other thing I have noticed was broken installations for the Marketplace and Microsoft Voice Command. Reinstalling those from downloaded cabs seemed to fix it them, though.


Edit: Found another bug with closing programs. Once Live crashes, there's no way to actually kill the process. Task Manager has a blank button where 'kill process' should be. Individual processes don't seem to be possible to right-click, either.

Cool, thanks for letting me know. I've been on my 6.5.X ROM all day figuring out CHT v2.0. I'll check issues you mentioned on it and if they don't exist, I'll check them on the 6.5 at some point when I flash back to it.

So far so good, everything been running great. She haven't benn in my ear for nothing ( literaly, lol ) thats bad but I'm glad she likes the phone... She can't put it down, love your shark into. I played with it Sunday, memery holding good so far but you know it normally take a couple days. Have you heard of "fring" app?

Hopefully memory will hold. I ran it for a couple of weeks with no "out of memory" errors or anything like that. Obviously this is with a CleanRAM regiment running, but I didn't use cleanRAM for a couple of days and still no memory issues. I hope the same holds true for all of you.

I'm glad she's enjoying the phone. Did you put CHT v2.0 on it yet? It absolutely sick!!! Try if out, if you haven't yet. If she'll let you have the phone for a bit, that is ;)

No I'm about to load it now.

Dont shoot me for the false/positive bug reports, sorry. No i didnt have cht2 installed at the time but was just stating i wanted to start it off fresh, so i flashed back to stock first.

I cant remember if i originally flashed stock or just your rom when i reported those bugs ( i know i should know better by now) but after a stock flash then your rom, i just checked those issues i was having and mm task closes apps on x like it should. Txt from kb in landscape in sms tab works. And i did install the cartoon font so was prolly the issue as you stated. So all those problems were user related not rom.

I did notice on fresh flash in remove apps the available space is missing digits cause it shows 420k. Thats all for now, thanks n sorry agian for earlier

Yep the Comic Sans font is one of the larger profile fonts. So the device can't fit as much text into a given area. See my thread (sig banner) for more info.


@ Sharkie - This ROM is perfect! I'm loving the new task manager. Fast, stable, etc. I'm gonna try to play around with CHT 2.0 beta on here soon, but I'm crazy busy outside of the WinMo world too.
