I have noticed that mm task isnt closing apps like it should. I use this task since release so i know it has worked and i do have the option in settings checked. Even tried uncheck then check.

I haven't had that problem at all. Try removing mine and installing yours and let me know if that one works.

Hey Sharkie I installed your latest ROM and to my surprised after committing to the T-Mobile Carrier Provisioning it gave me the same errors with taskbar icons (speaker icon ain't there and battery freezes in the last state it was after a soft reset). When I uninstall the T-Mobile cab got a message it didn't uninstall everything and the phone got stuck trying to launch Sense after doing a soft reset. Had to do Task29 and reinstall the ROM. I did the T-Mobile setting myself manually like I usually do after installing a ROM. The ROMs great for now will keep you updated if anything weird happens.

Better yet, can you post your T-Mobile cab? Hopefully I can just incorporate yours into StedySoft Provisioning and remove the one that's there. OK, so I've removed the "phcanOverbmp.dll" file from the T-Mobile cab. That's the file that has all the taskbar icons in it that are overwriting the default one's in the ROM. If you wouldn't mind risking having to reflash, can you try the cab I've posted and let me know if it works? I'm not too experienced at this aspect of things and so I"m not sure that it will work. It seems to me that this file is unnecessary. We'll see... Please let me know... Anyone else having MMTaskManager issues with it not closing apps? |

Oh, so you've modded the "X" button in WM Messaging to be a back key instead of an "X" button?

So Co0kie released a CHT v2.0 Beta a little bit ago along with a new beta release of CHT Editor. I won't be releasing and updated version of my ROMs with the new CHT and Editor until they remove the beta labels from them.
In the meantime, luckily, as you well know CHT and the Editor are removable and so you can have fun playing with v2.0 on my ROM anyway. I know I am! It's pretty F'ing phenomenal! Just as a head's up, they are not backwards compatible so you can't export settings and such, I believe, like you could when 1.8.5 came out... |

So as an update I un installed mm. task an reinstalled cab i had and now it works like it should.
Noticed in htc messaging in landscape doesnt insert txt from kb, anyone else? Sum system windows are cut off on the right...the one i remember is when dl'ing cab, it ask you to open/save, i pick save and that window to chose name and install folder is cut off on the right. But i have seen this couple times, just dont remember where. Think im gonna flash stock then rom agian to start cht2 on fresh slate and see if i have the same bugs Sent from my A81E using Tapatalk |
