No luck, I used the task 29 app to format the internal memory, then flashed over a newly downloaded 1.5 Rom, This time using activesync instead of flashing via microSD, on a second computer. This eliminates a bad download, residual crap in internal memory, a faulty sd card. Without installing any cabs or even using Microsoft MyPhone, I used another phone to send me a sms. I was able to open it, and reply via the HTC sms app. However once again when I pull it up via my method posted earlier (From Home, click the Messages icon, then all messages at the lower left, then opening the received sms, and trying to reply to the sms from there) it fails. I can see the envelope depressing when i push it, there's nothing in options to send it, and the enter key just goes down a line. Any other ideas?


Edit:: Hot damn I figured out what was wrong. I stuck an ATT sim in my phone a while ago, The phone is patched to use US GSM carriers, but I didn't install the modified radio. Not entirely sure why that would matter seeing as how it didn't use ATT. (It was more or less going to be used to copy contacts to another phone, but I never got around to it) When I took the sim card out, it worked well. Strange.

I'm still up in the air about why an inactive sim card would cause an issue with sending a text message from that one app.... Who knows, when I get home I'll pop it back in and see if the issue comes back. At least I've got a task 29 clean rom flash now

hmm, i use a dummy sim and dont have any issues. keep us informed please.

Legion....my wireless bt stereo headphones are not working....they pair but it will not play my music...stereo connection fails every time I try....I flashed to another rom to make sure they were not the issue and they work fine...

l3gion, A2DP hasn't been working on your last couple roms (i have a WEP870). they're still fast and great though!

thanks for the news guys I've made some progress im using a better base. still having some of the issues.I wouldn't had been aware of the bluetooth issue were it not for you all as I don't use thank you I will definitely get that on the list to fix.

what about cooking in xda_uc? anybody like that lol? i hate having to manually install every cab
